Hi everyone, I am an IT professional here in Nigeria, been searching for list of IT schools in America but no luck yet, i will appreciate it if anyone can direct me in a right directions on where to get the list of IT schools in USA.

MsNas, I have read your post several times and I am amazed how you took out time to explain in detail. Pardon my curiosity, you applied to a lot of jobs and most of these jobs need references or recommendations from professionals; probably supervisors or advisors as the case may be. How did you manage that part of a job application? I bet my advisor can't write more than 10 references before he gets tired.
Kindly help to elucidate this matter.

I found out the link has been removed but thanks for contributing. I have learnt one or two things from that site. The H1B quota for my discipline is so small compared to Engineering and IT. I guess it would take a lot of hard work and dedication to pull through.

Though am not a "guru" like most people on this platform but am quite interested in your post because I studied Mass Communication for my first degree and hoping to go for Communication Studies come Fall of 2018. But just in case you're asked about the course, don't forget to tell the VO that asides the conventional role of Journalism which is basically to inform, educate, entertain and of course, it agenda-setting role, communication can also be used to inspire genuine development in Nigeria through Media Advocacy and Media Campaign. From there, a follow-up question may be asked and believe me, if your explanations are comprehensive enough, the VO will be satisfied in that regard. I hope this works.......all the best as you go! Yeah..@bolded typical of lot of companies. But as long as you're in a STEM course, you should still be able to get a company. Another thing is, it's usually faster with small companies that file than for big ones where you have wait in line in many cases. Some people leave big companies for smaller ones just because of that.

I see, can you give me any link as regard that. because my major problem right now is what course to study in the US, so that I could make my MSC project to go along the same line, and as such be able to secure admission and funding in the US,and as well to know what to say to the Visa officer
