Yinmu. If Nairobi in Kenya which has way less endowments than Lagos (seaports, oil, refinery, Eko Atlantic etc) in terms of population or strategic location can survive, then you bet Lagos would be just fine, to your eternal shame. You should be more concerned about your non-existent Biafran country rather than worrying about an already relatively developed Lagos with everything going for it.

Oga, just allow Igbos miscreants to continue their shinkolo dance sequel to the revelation (not hidden anyway) of a SE governor about his state, and by extension, the entire SE, in his capacity as the model governor of his zone.

All these chest beating from parasites are not unexpected, it has always been their trademark.

The black man sure has a miserable nature. Hand over Ebonyi state to Germans or Americans even Koreans and see what becomes of it future.

The black man likes a feeding bottle system and would neva think out of the box to create wealth with his thinking cap on.

Ebonyi state is highly saturated with mineral resources and shud they be harnessed to the fullest, that state won't be seen on the radar of states begging for allocation. they are good @ farming especially rice production.

The problem with every black man on earth is his inability to think and this is why I fully support restructuring or outright disintegration cos if we dont depend on our mindsets to engage in productive ventures like Asians and Europeans do, we will keep looking for federal allocation to survive.

Brilliantly written! Blacks are very lazy but religious. Infact, the reason why we are very religious is because we are mentally lazy. When other races are creating new things, the blacks are nowhere to be found. We want to go to heaven so we can enjoy free things.

Guy, push every state into the cold so as to awaken them
Unfortunately, it doesn't work that way. For states, there are KPIs that trigger IGRs. Ebonyi is a very young state trying to find its feet and I doubt if the state is capable of fending for itself independently, just some old states around.

When it comes to revenues, economists as well as financial analysts would work with what is on ground and not on uncertainty. Therefore, it is only natural that the governor express concerns.

That is the problem with you igbos; an exaggerated sense of self-importance. If igbos leave Lagos or get kicked out, Lagos will continue to thrive. With a lesser population the city would even be in a better position to manage herself more efficiently and more competitively relative to other world renowned cities -- and of course there'll certainly be less igbo criminals like Alaba pirates and Evans to worry about.

Joburg isn't as populated as Lagos yet it still attracts investments, and it has not died (and the only igbo contribution to that city is drug trafficking). You need to quit fooling yourself coz in the event of a split it's your own people that would be begging to remain in Lagos or seeking visas into our territory. You guys don't even have a leg to stand or walk on yet, but you are taking shots at a Lagos that already has everything going for it. That is what I call Akpu Logic.
