I cannot talk to people who have no meaningful contribution to certain conversations.

what i'm saying is, if you are not an intellectual and you see a girl you like just ask her out the way you deem fit. if she likes, she accepts, if she likes, she declines, that's her palaver. no conventional way of asking a girl out. you can outrightly tell a girl that you like her without swaying and she would accept. what works for you doesn't work for another. btw, must i be an intellectual to ask you out? all these your criteria are stringent.

I hate that direct approach. I am speaking from personal opinion. Besides, I am an advocate of getting to know someone without strings before entering a relationship..

How will we have conversations if you don't have a certain level of intelligence?

the farthest i have gone was the day i saw one very cute guy in a keke, we were the only two in the vehicle, and i was just watching him from the corner of my eye, i can sense he wanted to talk to me but maybe he was feeling shy (don't really know) when i was almost at my destination i asked for his number which he didn't hesitate to give.
called him about two days later and he confessed i saved him a lot of trouble, though we ended up being just friends over calls and chats never went out on a date cus i have a nice guy i loved that i was dating and the new guy understood

everybody has intelligence, no doubt. but some people can not hold a conversation for long. and there is some level of wittiness that you expect during the conversation and that is what make you a person an intellectual. m glad you said you are speaking from personal opinion. well, as for me, it depends on my mood, i can outrightly ask you out and sometimes build some level of camaraderie.

i've been toased many times by gals, i dnt know why maybe they realize that i'm an introvet. Be it as it may i dnt see any big deal a girl asking a guy out, cos shy guy like me wont easily toast a girl, i can wait for (siy month) a long time b4 i make a move...
