He woke up and found himself in the back seat of a car,with his mother sitting beside him. She was looking through the window. They were driving in a convoy of three cars and they were in the middle. A man was sitting on the seat in the front seat beside the driver;both men were huge and were wearing black suits. The man beside driver had a pistol tuck on the waist of his trouser. His movement made his mother turned and looked at him. He stared into her eyes searching for answers but surprisingly, there was no regret and the woman he was staring at had no remorse or regret;it was so untypical of his mother.
"Why mum?" He asked hushed,tears flowing from his eyes. She sneered and flecked her eyes.
"I don't owe you any explanation Hillary Osagie,I have been part of The Hallow even before you were born. The organization has given me everything..."
"At the expense of the people!" He interrupted. "How many lives have you ended all for your selfish interest? You're evil! Satan is better than you. I hate you and I promise to stop you and your organization's activities even if it means me dying."
"I don't care if you hate me Hills. I used my power as the leader of the organization to influence them to forgive you and they agreed on the condition you will never interfere in what so ever we are doing,so you have to cooperate and shut up,pretend you have never come in contact with us and everything will be ok. I am taking you to Poland where you will you will be kept under house arrest with no access to the internet until everything in over." She said and turned to the window.
"That is not going to happen,I can't keep mute about this. I don't lack conscience like you. I will expose you all your evil activities to the world and you will be punished. God,I can't believe you're my mother." He eyed her annoyed.
"You father tried coming our way and he was also killed. I don't want to loose you just like your father." She turned her eyes to the window.
Hillary stared at her disgustingly. He hated her,the love he have for her all those years were suddenly replaced by hate. He looked at the road,they were approaching a bridge. An Idea came to him immediately. He looked at his mother whose attention was outside then turned to the two men in front,they were not looking. He shut his eyes,said a quick prayer and reached for the gun on the waist of the man sitting beside the driver. The man turned back immediately and attempt to get back the gun from him but was late. Hillary fired at the driver and he let go of the steering. The car started dancing in the middle of the road,making all the occupant of the car loose focus. Hillary shot at the man beside the driver and met him on the forehead. The car ran into another car in front and somersault into the lake. The car began sinking into the water and he started opening the door. His mother swimed towards him and grabbed his neck,squeezing them hard. He let go of the door handle and began struggling to free himself from her. His eyes began bulging as she squeezed harder. He saw the pistol flowing and reached for it. He pointed the gun at her lap and fired it. She let go of him immediately and growled,making water enter her mouth. The water in the car became red immediately. He shield his face with one hand and fired at the glass. The glass shattered immediately and he went out of the car. He wined for almost twenty minutes,making sure he didn't appear outside,above the water. He reached part of the late which was shallow and came out. He lay with his back on the ground panting. He glanced towards the direction he had wined from;there was a heavy traffic on the bridge and people stood on top of the bridge looking into the lake. He stood up wearily and walked away.

He knock at the gate loudly that someone a kilometer away could hear. The gate opened moment later and he entered,looking behind him to make sure he wasn't followed. Doctor closed the door then locked it and turned to Hillary. He looked sternly at him from head to toe;his clothes were wet and dripping water. There was confusion and worry in his eyes. Doctor Jonah moved towards him and placed him hands on Hillary's shoulder.
"What happened Hillary?" Doctor Jonah asked.
"All is not well,hell is going to be loose soon." Hillary replied,rubbing his hand over his face.
"I don't get you,please explain to me."
"This whole thing is planned by a group called The Hollows,it is an organization that started years ago in Oxford years ago and the are in force mass destruction."
"Wait,how did you even know all this?"
"I went to the address they told me to do,I was taken to a place and one of them told me everything. I saw high ranked people there who are members of the organization,including my mother." Hillary said looking into Doctor Jonah's eyes.
"Wait,I don't get you? Your mother is part of the organization?" Doctor Jonah said raising his eyebrows.
"Not only a part of the organization,but their head."
"How is that even possible? It look more like a movie than reality."
"I come to understand,not to trust anyone anymore. We need to be going,I have a plan already."
"What plan?"
"I have a way to stop them."
"And what way is that?"
"I will tell you on our way."
Doctor Jonah nodded and tapped him on the shoulder. They went into the house,took few things and left. Hillary went to where he hid his back pack and took it before they went into hiding.
The Nnamdi Azikiwe international airport was surrounded by security men who were waiting for the President to arrive at the airport. Security was tight; drones were flying in the sky,surveying the premises. Sitting in a corner was Hillary,legs crossed pretending to be operating his phone. He occasionally look up through the spectacles that was on his eyes. He was disguise in an artificial beard and mustache;no one will know him when he sees him. Twenty minutes later,the president arrived in a convoy. He came out of the car and started walking towards the arrival entrance,followed by security when who have their hands on the trigger of their guns. They will shoot at any moment when the need arises. Hillary stood up and slid the phone inside the trouser of the blue suit. He sighed and stroad towards the entrance. His heart beat as he moved towards the president and his security. He stopped few meters away and slid his hand inside the inner pocket of his suit. A gun shot was fired in the air,making the security men turn sharply towards the direction of the gun shot. Hillary removed an handcuff from his pocket,ran towards the president and immediately handcuffed the president's hands with his. The security men turned towards him and pointed their guns at him. Hillary brought out a pistol from his pocket and placed it on the President's rips.
"I am going to shoot him if any of you make any silly mistake." Hillary said looking at the confused security men.
"Don't you dare try any nonsense." The president said looking around at the security men. They put their guns away immediately. "Don't kill me please,I will give you whatever you want."
"I won't kill you Mr. President,actually I am trying to help. Just do what I say and no one will get injured."
"Ok." The president nodded.
"Fine. We are going to the national television station,I have a message for you and the people of this country."
"Is that all you want?"
"Yes. But only you and a driver are allowed to go. The rest will not follow us."
"That's not a problem."

They walked into an SUV jeep and drove to the national television station,three kilometers away. They came out of the car with the gun still on the president's ribs. Camera started rolling immediately,they went into the news room and sat down. The news room was filled with people working at the the station who want to have hand information. A female news anchor joined Hillary and the president in the news room.
"Good morning Mr. President." The anchor greeted. The president nodded,he was sweating despite the air condition being on. "Mr.?" She turned to Hillary.
"Hillary Osagie." He said. She nodded and smiled.
"Mr. Hillary,good morning."
"Good morning to you. Are we on air already?" He asked her.
"Yes we are. Wha..."
"Good people of Nigeria,I want to first apologize to you but it is the only way out now. I want to come clean,I am not a terrorist like I was painted. The real terrorist are people we trust and gave them the responsibility of leading us. A terrorist organization called The Hollows are out to cause destruction. I found out about them months ago and tried stopping them." Hillary said staring into the camera.
"Do you have any prove to back up your claim?" The anchor asked,crossing her legs.
"Yes." Hillary said dipping his hand into his trouser and brought out a flash. "This flash contain information on every their activities which includes money laundering,bombing and other things. I am a computer engineer and work with Fitch Technologies. Few months ago,I was sent by my boss,Mr. Gibs who is also a member the organization to the defense head quarter to fix a problem and I came across an information about how to share the money meant for the purchase of ammunition. I thought it was only a case of stolen money until I saw a plan on series of terror attacks supposed to carried around the country. I tried stopping the bombing at the eagle square but I was mistaken for a terrorist and forced to go into hiding. If those people are not stopped,Nigeria is going down for good."
Hillary said looking at the president.
The director of news stroad towards them and took the flash. He inserted the flash into the port of the laptop and began going though the content of the flash. It was a messy discovery as many top notches in the country and outside were implicated. The president gave a command for the immediate closure of all the airport in the country and the arrest of all the people whose names were linked to the organization. The people arrested were taken to the Department of state security office and detained. Investigation started immediately. Before long,the news was everywhere,local and international.
"I am sorry Mr. President fo..."
"No need to be sorry,you're a hero and deserve to be praised for your patriotism." The president interrupted putting one of his hands on Hillary"s shoulder and gently squeezed them. Hillary nodded.
The president entered the car,rolled down the glass and waved at Hillary,smiling. Hillary waved back at him as the convoy left the premises. Journalist rushed him immediately and and started bombarding him with questions. He covered his face and entered the inside. He walked to one of the presenters.
"If you don't mind can I please use your phone?" Hillary asked.
"Sure!" The presenter said smiling broadly as if he had won a million dollar lottery. He brought out his phone from his pocket and handed it to Hillary. Hillary walked to a corner and dailed a number then placed the phone on his ear.
"Hello." Doctor Jonah's voice said from the other end.
"We did it Doctor Jonah." He said happily,biting his lower lips and smiling. He looked around,most people were looking at him.
"I told you everything will be ok."
"Yes you did. It is all over now."
"Where are you now?" Doctor Jonah asked.
"I am still inside the station." Hillary replied.
"Ok stay there. I will come and pick you up now."
"Ok." Hillary nodded and ended the call.
Doctor Jonah arrived at the station five minutes later and drove Hillary out using the back gate. They didn't say a word to each other as they journey. Doctor Jonah occasionally turn to look at him,he seem to be deep in thought. Doctor Jonah cleared his throat,making him turn to face him.
"Now that everything is over,what is your new plan?" Doctor Jonah asked smiling.
"I don't know. I might go for a vacation,maybe. I am yet to get over the fact that my mother is involved in this mess." He sighed.
"That's life for you. So where do I take you now?"
"My house,I missed it a lot."
Doctor Jonah smiled and concentrated on driving. Hillary turned to the window and stared outside,admiring nature. They arrived at his house and he came down. He turned and look at the car as it zoomed off.
