I noticed that 3 in 5 persons, are against tithing or giving in church and 1 out of this 3 persons that're in favour don't give.

However, tithing and giving is one very important aspect of christianity. I pay my tithes, (not faithfully)give my first fruit, etc and i must say,God has been faithful in his own way towards me financially, health wise and otherwise.

A very good instance, was a day i entered a church and decided to empty all my financial substance to God, I mean my last kobo without the hope of what to eat the next day and miraculously the next day God provided, raw beans and some mighty onions,so that day was fixed up till now. This is just a little of my giving story.

You only mentioned one out of the twenty occasions you gave and received. What about the other times you gave and same day nobody gave you back? What about the days you didn't give in the church and you received from people?
I have received more financially since I stopped paying tithes. How can you explain that?

The moment you stop paying your tithe, your salary would seem insufficient for you...

And for those of u saying its now all about giving! Maybe you stopped reading your Bibles.
Giving is a principle which would work for anyone, even pagans. "Give, it shall be given unto you......"

Peace!

giving in church is in two occasion
1. you may have abundant n decide to give some little change maybe 50 or 100
2. there's another in which if you have nothing n just only your last penny you just drop it to honor God no how no how I bet you even if not that day but that week God would surely suprise you.

N.B- No offering you give is a waste, some clear unnecessary debt or sickness that may want to befall you in the future even attacks to. so bro giving to God goes a long way in Man's favour. try n realize it's true wink

Good and bad things happen irrespective of whether one gives money in the church or not sad

Fortunately for these pastorpreneurs, most Christian Nigerians simply have their brains on indefinite vacation when it comes to the practice of their religion.... sad

My brother. God doesn't need your money to bless u.He just does to His own glory.
I give offering in church just in thanksgiving. And no matter how much I give it can nerve change the status of God.

I give to the needy and not the "church". That is where my blessing comes from. I never lack since the day I started giving to the needy. That is my interpretation of paying Tithe, sowing seed and giving!

All other gimmicks from so called pastors na wash!!!

The Bible said if you have two clothes share with the one that has none, if you have enough food give to those who are hungry.

I'm very good at giving, when I have... You can be hungry when I'm in the street, as long has u have come to me! But now that I don't have, nobody wanna help!

Sometimes when you listen to testimonies of some congregation in the church altar you will be asking if they are staged.I experience most of the testimonies they give in church in my daily life often with out paying tithes. Some will even kill a rat at home and use it to give testimony in church.Pastors should seek financial help from God not poor congregations who are struggling.

Let me guess monkey, god sent you a receipt for the financial substance.
Or did it go towards buying a private jet for pastor...who might actually be bleeping your wife as extra benefit (if you have one)
People like you are a disgrace to civilization.

I can’t remember the last I paid my title, But irrepesctive of that I aren’t broke and can never be broke. I instead prefer to give my title to those in need eg motherless babies home which I do

Must not be in the church.
It didnt state it categorically that you should give money.
How about food, clothing, help, infrastructure, medicare etc.
We have people that needs Our material things more than these "men of god".
However, they have brainwashed us to believing that giving is limited to the church.

Any blessing that SEEMS to come through tithing is NOT linked to the tithing. It is entirely coincidental.
