With or without child birth , the problem still remains. After child birth, the vagina expands and never returns to the original size. While in other circumstances the feeling or sensation of a wide vagina comes from "lubrication" and loosening of the vagina in anticipation of sex.

A girl with "healthy sex life" get well lubricated in anticipation of sex in addition to the expansion or loosening of the vagina to allow easy entry during the act. So, a girl who has had more sex is likely to become well lubricated and loose before penetration - giving the "sensation/feeling" of a wide vagina (hence an indicator for promiscuity).
