Only bein sport channels on TSTV cracking like hell when championsleague match was going on, other channels are very stable, is how they want to start?, without live football channels I will subscribe to any pay TV, if they can't work on those football channels now, that is beginning of their failure

While on menu, press 1379 to enter satellite setup, create a sat or add a tp of the station you want to track. Use colour button to scan.

That is why they said it is test transmission and the test transmission is not yet over. Why is it that Nigerians are not patient? You can go and buy DSTV

Its now very obvious that those BeINsports are actually IPTV. Matters settled.(I hope I'm correct)

The others that are stable are Terrestrial and Satellite channels.

DSTV has the sole rights for Satellite broadcast of UCL in the whole of Africa, save MENA. Whilst Canal has same right in French speaking African countries.

For TSTV, to use BeIN, it has to be IPTV.

Why the intermittent freeze? It has to do with network ISP strength. I just finished watching UCL matches via Modbro, using ntel 4g LTE. At some point, BeINsport 5 that showed Dortmund's match freezed at some points. Yet Ntel's LTE is the strongest in the whole of Nigeria. Stronger than Smile, Spectranet, IPNX, Glo, 9mobile and MTN etc. There's still signal drop.

This is just the testing period for TSTV, they need to improve on the 4.5g to if possible 5g. With strong network, there wouldn't be intermittent freeze anyone.

Another thing I suspect is that, the BeINsports might be broadcasting in HD. For HD channels not to freeze or buffering, you need very strong internet.

They can either use
SD
2g
3g, which would prevent the buffering or intermittent freeze.

I hope any of the people would visit this thread and take a feed back from all the people posting on this thread

They are actually receiving with a 4 meter dish and transmitting/uploading via a receiver. I conclude, they dont have beinsports feed rather, they are receiving and transmitting. Beinsports does not know about this project.

Are you sure it's from 4metre dish? I doubt they'll be doing such. Even if that's the case, then the channels should not freeze, except if it rained during the match. We all know KU band will have low signal, when ever it rains. BeINsport MENA is ku band

You need to different Satellite channel freezing from IPTV buffering. They're not same.

Re: Free To Air Satellite Tv General Thread by oloet: 7:20am On Nov 02, 2017
this is the free cost decoder the talked about,
user interface,
the dish size is actually 1meter from strong,
installers would face some challenges installing in it on the wall however those with FTA spirit would see it as butter on a bread. all the arguments up there about rights and so on is not up to us, we want freedom and we are the ones judging the provider before having the official decoder... let's wait till they start selling, as it is they working tirelessly to make everything workout.
on a side note, haters can start comparing pictures from now, the resolution on that GS2 is what other provider is charging people for
