Yea, BSU is quite slow in their admission process. Did you send them your sponsor's bank statement (showing minimum of $25,000 for undergraduate studies or $23,000 for graduate studies), letter of support from your sponsor and i20 supplemental request form? If not, you need to asap. Your sponsor's statement and letter of support need to be notarized. I have attached the i20 supplemental request form to this message. Then email all 3 documents to syego@bowiestate.edu. He is in charge of coordinating international admissions.

You can also email him to inquire on the status of your application.
thanks alot, pls pm me lets talk privately. Thanks alot

Hi everyone

Please I need your advice/ answer to this

I used to set a goal of becoming an engineer which led me to science class and studying in engineering in the University (With good GP)

The issue is, the more I grow, the more I realize Engineering isn't for me. Have been a lover of Business Related stuffs from childhood and have really developed interest in it.
(Business Management, Economics, and Business Administration)
These are what I love
I guess I made a childhood mistake which am finding hard to correct.

Right now, am thinking of applying to USA universities (BSC)

My WAEC combinations include Science Subjects
What do I do about this?

Thinking of going for mechanical Engineering then I speak to a carrer counselor in the US about it.

Don't even know what to do.

If you already have an engineering degree, it would not be useful to go back to do another bachelors degree in the US when you could use that money to do an MBA.

Then identify a major, look for a good school, find out the admission requirements (i'd advise that you take the SAT and TOEFL) and apply. Good luck!

Uncle Eblaz, VIU is a red flag o. shocked

Please take your time and apply/ wait patiently for FALL semester. Apply to other good school but not VIU. Seems VIU is a one building school and from the orientation exercise I attended today, USA has over 10k schools out of which only about4000 are accredited. The funny thing is, the rest that are not accredited also issue students i-20, thereby leaving potential students stranded at the Embassy as the VO will never issue students with such school's i-20 admission and still will never tell you anything wrong with the school. I am not saying VIU is not accredited ooo cos I don't know (before world people will quote me wrongly grin), but so far from testimonies and advises on this thread, it's a red flag. Don't even near the embassy with their i-20 except u wantu dash Uncle Trump 64bay to buy Christmas tree to mount at VIU this X'mas grin grin

Hello all, I am new here.

Please can anyone explain to me what does a post baccalaureate degree means? What's the difference between it and a master's degree?

Thank you. Please don't mind my dumb question. Not everybody knows the meaning.

@Baker77
I applIed in August, the application fee is about $80 but you don't have to pay that until after your admission. Then, when you are admitted, you pay 50% of your first semester fee before you get your acceptance letter, i20 and others. There Spring application ended 30th of October or so. But the Fall application is on.

Baker77:
bro when did you apply, what are the requirements, which course and how much did you pay app and reg?
Re: General U.s.a (student) Visa Enquiries-part 12 by lextube: 6:55pm On Nov 22, 2017
Thanks. I probably shouldn't have asked the question here. But thanks anyway.

Hello my people..

Please, what documents do I have to take to the embassy for my interview?

While filling my Ds-160, I included all the International organization that I have volunteered with, with certificate to prove that and also included in the ds-160 that I am a YALI alumni..
So, do I have to go with all my Certificates to prove it or I should just go with the general documents required?

I'm asking cos I don't want them to feel like am too desperate to travel to usa o..
