that's true.. Osun electricity seems to be the best in south west. They enjoy constant power supply. That is totally true. Cc 1realbobby
Osogbo is also one of the few state capital with available potable water in most parts. Very peaceful, good roads, and affordable transportation but difficult to get a good job.

It is not as cheap as people make it out to be, but it is still cheap compared to other cities in Nigeria. I live in a place called Ajobo (city outskirt), in a 3 bedroom apartment (new house) and the rent is 200k yearly. That is relatively cheap. I moved here from Lagos last year. What part of Ibadan do you live?

Bros,

This is not ibadan now

Na border town you dey

That place to Lagos is like 40'

I can see you enjoying the place

Came visiting too in Akobo

Been a long time I see NEPA doing 17 hours per day

You know na- BH, Religious riots, anti southerners riots, tribal upheavals, political intability, long distance from home, etc. etc etc

If you say Boko haram, then it's understandable but is only mostly affects Borno and northern parts of Adamawa.

Are tribal upheavals not also common in the south? Ezza-Ezillo crisis in Ebonyi, Ife- Modakeke, Ijaw- Itsekiri, Ogoni- Okrika, Cross river vs Akwa ibom villages e.t.c
I am in Delta state now and currently Ijaws and Urhobos are fighting in Aladja- Ogbeijoh axis.

Anti southern n religious riots rarely happens.

Talking like this is akin to saying that people should not reside in Southern Nigeria becos of Kidnappers, Armed robbery, ritualist killings, Cultism clashes/rivalry, Scamming/419 that are very very rampant and widespread all over the Southern region.

tell us the no go areas bro

The no go areas in Jos are heavily populated Hausa/muslim areas. Although anyone can enter anywhere in Jos now becos everywhere has been peaceful for many years now.

The so called muslim no go areas are not up to 20% of the city. Majority of Jos are christian areas and mixed areas.

Can you speak yoruba fluently? If you can't, staying in these places would be quite difficult for you. Cos they speak yoruba everywhere and many of the locals cannot speak english/pidgin. And even many who can speak english would just deliberately refuse to speak english.

I also fear yoruba areas becos of ritual killings (am very sorry if this affects yoruba peeps here, maybe they can clear me on this).

OP Benin is relatively cheap, with 80k u get a mini flat and food are cheap too cos ab0kis bring down plenty food through d Abuja auchi route.

Try calabar, another cool and cheap place, if not for north wahala, I prefer Jo's, minna or markudi
Cala wetin? Life in Calabar is more expensive than in Lagos. The only cheap thing in Calabar is transportation.

You should know na. Isolated and transient skirmishes between kindred clans (something that has been there for aeons) are different from the skirmishes are different from the earth quaking tsunamic and well planned bloodshed that goes on all over a region at the same time. Even if you dont know, Nigerians know. My grandfather, grandmother and two uncles whom I never knew never made it back from Kano in 1966. But I served NYSC in the north (Benue) and thoroughly enjoyed it. The Tiv, Idoma, Igala are great hosts. I dont know your part of the north.
