But that's not the case in Nigeria is it? People are not law abiding,jungle justice mentality pervades. You open your gob to say people become millionaires overnight and a part of your brain did not even pause to question "how?"
The end for you people justifies the means hence you don't care about the process.
Is even becoming a millionaire an achievement or rather the success of an entire society? I look down on you, not for living in Nigeria but for your typically Nigerian mentality which is feral at best.

When you start to talk about access to quality education, health care, basic amenities and security for all, then I might start to think yes, there is something worthy in that place. However if you keep chatting shit about millionaires, then you deserve that hellhole you live in. Why? Because your measure of the success of your society is the reason why it's fvcked in the first place.

In the 80's it was 80K to $1, you had Indians, Americans, British citizens working as secondary School teachers in Nigeria and sending money back home. Nigeria was on its path to greatness. In the 90's Parents put their 10 year old sons and daughters in public transportation from Eastern Nigerian, Southern Nigeria to travel to Northern Nigeria to start JSS1 in an FGC school and vice versa with absolutely no fear of anything whatsoever Nigeria was that safe. The police was functioning well, there was Justice in the Court system, public health was working, Ministries and govt parastatals was functioning well. The decline started in the 90's and we have been on a downward spiral. We went through a civil war, and we have been plagued with the oldest thing that has held us back for a very long time, "the fear of the person that is different from you". You fear him, then you avoid him, then you distrust him, then you want to use violence against him...... We are divided along all lines from tribal, to religious, to everything and the religious institutions makes it worse. Everyone is suspicious of "the enemy of progress". Our major problem is corruption in leadership. We all know it but we are too divided to come together to fight it. The USA that you mentioned was built on the backs of West Africans as slaves. The freedom that all blacks enjoy in America today was fought by blacks that died to end segregation. A wise person who has seen how things work in the western world would look to see if something like that existed in Nigeria and if there isn't, he gets to work. He gets people to invest or even approaches the government and if that it idea is deem worthy, a contract is set and money is made.

That is the opportunity you can find in a still young and developing economy that you can never find in already developed economies. Opportunities are innumerable my sister, only the truly discerning can see that.
You not only contribute to make the country meet up globally, you also make money doing it. So technically they are making the country better and also getting paid. What have you done about it.... All the complains what positive role have you played aside talk, talk and talk..... People died, fought for independence for you to have the Passport you used and a Country - NIGERIA, now politicians are stealing us blind and dividing us, what did you do? Fela sang about it, "I no wan die, i no wan quench, my papa dey for house, i wan build house, i wan enjoy.... so policeman go slap ur face you no go talk??.... It's ok for you to stay abroad and come to visit and complain that makes you a coward and a complainer....
