I thought it's only me.

One of them is at loggerheads with the landlady.
She always has constant gossips about her and who is most readily available to listen to her, ME, the 'Good Neighbor' .

Sometimes she comes all the way to my biz place to just pour out gossips. In as much as I don't like it, I don't make her see it.

She has a good heart. She is my good neighbor.

Ah. This is my thread. I wasn't bothered before but this Xmas break laidis. I tire. I stay in a flat bit they are always coming to knock my door. One particular woman has a son that will come to my door and she will be there shining teeth like mannequin. Me I've decided not to answering anybody when they knock on my door sef
I don't blame them, it's my landlord that refused to finish the house and erect fence.

Very simple solution.

1 Go to Oyingbo market and buy a big bag of unpeeled Egusi.

2 When next they come to your house, put off the TV, say something like 'Mama Chizoba, now that you're here, help me peel small egusi".

3 Use paint rubber and pack a heavy heap of egusi in front of her let her peel.

Sit back, relax and see what God will do.

You cope with them by...

Minding your business

Great them and pass

You can be friendly occasionally but not close

Avoid sitting with them to talk before they will call you as a witness to a gossip matter

Always ensure you don't borrow things from them

Finally,pack out of the house to a self contain with decent flats if you have the means...your type of neighbours will change.

I detest gossips, exactly why I am very elusive. You would have to sweat it out to get me to stand or sit down for any informal gist around my area. Even greetings, I reply scantily with little attention. I just don't want anyone making me a judge over others, or feeding my mind with stories about nonexistent enemies.
