Hello Guys,

Please has anyone been able to submit IELTS refund request via email or through a third party

I'm unable to submit the form in person, just wondering if there is any other means I can submit these given their long refund processing time.

Evening House,

I have been following the thread, I hail the seniors in the house kindly answer my questions below:

1. I want to evaluate my wife credentials on WES should I use her maiden name or my surname.

2. Have anybody evaluated PGDE from NTI on WES

3. How fast is Unilorin transcript?

4. I am currently preparing for IELTS, I would be happy if I can get study materials.

God bless you all.

Has she done a change of name? The application shoukd be done in her current name and if its different from the name on her credentials, there is room to explain that. The name on my credentials is different from the name i submitted to IQAS and I've gotten my evaluation.

As far as Unilorin transcripts, it depends on a lot of factors. It took close to a month to get my transcript dispatched despite the fact that i had collected it before. If her department/faculty never had any issues with her result or academic records do not come up with printer not working story, or public holidays, or signatory not around till next week. It shoukd take within a month.

Hi Toy002

I had the same experience and tried all the suggested methods, but in futility. What I found online and worked for me was to change the settings on my Chrome internet browser. Click on Settings >>>> Advanced >>>> Content Settings >>>> PDF Documents. At PDF Documents, enable the 'Download PDF files instead of automatically opening them' button. Go back to click on the Canada ADR link again, this time it will download the file and you can open from your download folder, the content should be visible then.

Let me know if this works for you.

PS. There may be variations in how the words are described on your own browser, but use the closest.

All the best!

Toy002:

I have tried everything, nothing seems to work. tried both on my laptop and on my phone. The error message is invalid or corrupt or damaged pdf file. I don't know how to attach screenshots here.

Good evening fam.

Quick question pls.

Im currently in the stage of uploading docs. And i have 3 items on the checklists that require the EXACT SAME documents. I just needed to verify if its ok to submit all the documents as the 3 indicated or what. I was thinking it was a glitch but i guess its not.

Thanks alot in advance for your advice.

I think they are asking for 3 different things.

The first one is asking for proof that your sibling is a PR so maybe u need to upload their PR card and any other proof.

The second is asking for proof that your sibling actually resides or lives in Canada so maybe work papers, apartment papers, bank statement, utility bills and any other proof

The third is asking for proof of ur relationship I am guessing u need to upload both your birth certificate and that of your sibling.

Thanks for your reply.

The only confusion is, there's entirely a tab for my brother's PR card. So if i upload it again won't it be double info??

I think they need not sure though.... The seniors can confirm
(1) PR card
2) proof of residency maybe utility bill or rental agreement
3) birth certificate of both of you

You can ask him if he has any other PR document aside the PR card that you can upload like a paper confirmation of his status.

Help is still needed here please....

DadR:
Good Morning House,

@ekinado, congrats on your PPR. I tap into your swift timeline.

A quick question please.

For those who had used Money Market Fund as POF, kindly give response to the below enquiries:

1. What kind of confirmation letter should I get from the fund manager and how does the format looks like?

2. Must I submit the statement of the fund?

3. If the above answer is yes, would a lumpsum of about N5m raise an eyebrow?

4. Assuming the lump sum is credited into the fund on January 10 and little subsequent contributions are made thereafter, for how long should the lump sum stay in the money market fund before submitting documents post ITA, that would not raise issue?

Thank you.

Help is still needed here please....

1. Send a mail to your fund manager/institution and specify in the content of the mail the requirements of CIC (on their website). Many of them are familiar with this once you tell them it's for Canada immigration. They know what to give you.

2. Better to submit the statement along with the letter. That's the perfect combination.

3. I wouldn't worry too much about a lump sum cos it might as well have come from your other account. However, if you borrowed the money or someone gave you out of charity, you can do a gift deed just to be on the safe side.

4. I don't know how to answer this question perfectly, but I'll give you my own experience. I opened a second mutual fund with Stanbic in June by depositing a one-time lump sum. In September I got a letter from them and a statement of account. This was one of my POF which I submitted. So, invariably, did a lump sum transfer about four months before obtaining a letter. I submitted my application in October. Now I have PPR.

@cochtrane

Thank you very much and God bless you.

You have answered my questions perfectly well. However, is it advisable to do a gift deed where by the donor isn't same surname as mine? i.e. A family friend.

Different documents are required however some may over lap e.g driver's license and passport.

Passport/ PR card

Proof of address: Insurance document, mortgage document, tax document utility bill e.g gas, water, electricity etc

Proof of relationship: birth certificates, marriage cert for both of you, affidavits in case you don't have BCs.

I added some extra things like pictures of us, my niece's and nephews' BC and passports.

It's up to you.
Goodluck

I had the same placeholders in my application. Here is what I did:
1. Sibling’s PR card(front and back) if a PR, or siblings Passport data page.
2. A recent utility bill with a Canadian address and siblings name
3. Your birth certificate, siblings birth certificate and parents marriage certificate.

That’s what I did! Hope it helps!

Hello e-fam, Please how possible is it to change address after sending PCC FBI? Its not up to a month that I sent through DHL. If possible, how can one go about it? My Spouse sister that I used her address just informed me that she will be relocating to another state with her family cos her husband got a new job.

I'm kinda dazed and want to seek advise here.

Thanks Fam.

It’s very possible. Just call the FBI identity and history summary customer care number and it will be changed for you.

My AOR is July 21.

The additional request document changed to we need additional document to continue processing of your application and the message says: Request Letter.

I'm so anxious and curious but I will ask someone else to try opening for me.

Thank you.

Hi congratulations in advance. Am 80% certain that it's a bio data request which means ppr is next . If you try to open it tomorrow and it doesn't work, you should raise a cse and call cic. They would resend the document again.
