we all experience it e.g.

when your boyfriend break your heart

when your favorite grandparent died or someone close to you

it has the tendency of becoming depression though, but it often fade with time

It can be called soul-shrinking, a void, a soul-portal...An emptiness that has to be filled, it's not entirely depression, that's why i coined it " positive depression ", dude has to be emptied so he can be filled again. Giving and helping charitable causes is the way out. Probably he's witholding within heimself more than he Gives out ( i.e. in form of wisdom, counsel etc). Life's way of ensuring he don't hoard too much is to make us get into this saturated point, so we fill the need and desire to empty ourselves, so we can be re-filled. It's scaterred all through the scriptures especially in the book ofo Psalms through the expereinces of David...

Lol. Depression happens quicker than we think, you mostly don't see it coming. Mine happened overnight.

Funny thing is, I was on nairaland commenting and laughing on every thread. Money, clothes, food, class don't stop depression from creeping in if it wants to.

That's how God tells me He wants to teach me something new... Whenever He wants me of social media, i feel depressed. I've been this way since around 8-9 years old...Till date, when He wants to teach me something new, i fall into depression...Many ministers experience it too, that's why David was always into music, it's a call for the soul to draw near to its maker

depression is not a quick sand. it takes a while to really manifest itself

it all begins with a period of sustained grief or sadness. it never just happens like you think

once you can't deal with that, then you fell empty.

Hopeless
lost of interest
anxiety
sudden mood swings and so on
