It's actually the laziness that makes the yoruba women that way, its not their genes. Yoruba women typically don't like physical activity. If you can find one that like exercising (goodluck with that o), she wont get fat. A typical yoruba woman will let her self go as soon as she gets married.

Its easy to tell. If she is skinny and her body is still very soft the you have a potential fattie.

In particular, poke the fleshy part of her body under her ribs...if its soft and squishy, there is adipose tissue there that will increase very well in the future. If it feels like rubber then she is a genuine slimmie and will stay that way.

You should be able to easily tell. This is why you "court or date", so you can "discern" people before you get hitched. With careful observation and getting to know her, this is a very very easy answer. Observe/listen to the things she says, does or care about. Two things:

1. Is she "skinny" now because she is just young, unmarried and have not experienced pregnancy etc.. ?

Or

2. Is she a "health conscious" person generally in nature: cares about herself (independent of you or anyone else), cares about what she eats, drinks etc.. likes to exercise or "keep fit" etc..?

Point is: if she is a generally health conscious person (not necessarily looking "good" outside to attract men etc), then it is likely she will maintain that.


Also, if you are asking this question: you prolly should not marry her as you are not mature enough. She will inevitably gain weight years down the road, and you need to accept and love her just the same.

Op i am sorry to tell you that you might never really know. Some slim ladies blow up after delivery (Lara George was really really slim) while some fat ones even slim down.

And that "mother" yardstick is not true. My sis inlaw is a direct opposite of her mum. Mother is very slim but daughter has all the curves and assets and is not slim.

For me, i am neither slim nor fat. Friends in school said i had the tendency to be really big that i would blow up especially after childbirth. But almost three months after and i am back to my "not fat not slim body".

Please keep an open mind for your sake and that of your future spouse. If you have genuine love for her, her weight won't be an issue. And if you feel she is adding too much, help her lose it rather than complain. The changes that occur during pregnancy come in different forms. You will learn
