0wen2017:Lol. Ojoro no be small! But see this as a reflection of what "may" likely happen in 2019. -Calls were made for nominations, did you show up? - Due to poor turnout, nomination/voting period was extended. I ask again, did you maximize the opportunity? - Finally, voting was done. It wasn't a secret ballot process, it was open. Open to all. I am forced to take on the role of a Presiding Officer like I did in 2015 to count your votes here. Point them out to me please. Before you shout Ojoro in 2019, go get your PVC. Get ready to cast your vote. It will be counted. Jaz like INEC won't count intentions. See this as a dress rehearsal, make sure at the recital, we don't find you playing football in a field only to come after election is over and winner declared to shout Ojoro. E no go work! This whole process for the host and organizers most certainly have been stressful. But I want to believe the objective has been achieved. It wasn't an easy ride but here we are, on a thread because one lady said Yes! this can be achieved! Well done Jaz. You're teaching me self motivation by the day. A big hand to the organizers. I applaud your efforts. Well done Fam! 3 Likes 4 Shares |

Jazmiynne: This is the one that touches me the most. I am forced to comment because two guys I respect so much on this forum were nominated for this same category. If anyone has ever had the privilege of relating with Yorex2011 off nairaland, then that fellow will say he's more than ideal! He is the perfect candidate. What recruiters/employers call The Best Fit! He's the round peg in all the round holes ever created. If we are mandated to openly drop our CVs here and now, I will sneak out, out of shame. I recommend him for international gigs. I endorse him as husband material. I approve of him as a mentor and coach. I support his dreams as a techy guy. I can go on and on but I must reserve space to celebrate Ferdyboss! Ferdy is a dream chaser! He is the ball! He is the striker! He is the goal post! I have the privilege of knowing this guy and I can comfortably entrust treasures in his hand. The ideal candidate isn't amicable09. The ideal candidate is that job seeker who doesn't know it all but is everyday seeking to know. Pushing out CVs. Without a single invite is still persistent and unflinching. Who secretly and openly says to strangers here, on LinkedIn, facebook, twitter, career sites, unashamedly, "I need help! Please assist to review my cv" The ideal job seeker is that one who derails a thread when he/she spots a resourceful person to politely ask, "can you send me materials for study? I applied for that job but haven't been shortlisted yet still I want to start practicing". The ideal job seeker may be introverted as well. Too introverted to register on NL. Too shy to give a mention. Too afraid to ask for help in a public space and be turned down. However, smart enough to nicodemously follow threads as a guest and gain insights from questions asked and answers supplied. Bold enough to someday gather courage to register and follow the monikers they secretly admire. The ideal candidate isn't the host, aren't the moderators and not even the organizers, the ideal candidate is YOU! I therefore tonight, with so much joy, present to all jobseekers, the highly rated award, which we've all clinched so meritoriously, it is no other than..... THE IDEAL CANDIDATE AWARD For 2017! I love you all! 9 Likes 6 Shares |
