U will need to open the back cover to access the panel. The servive cable is a long tiny wire with gold connector. Check if its properly key or find a way to get it from engineers
@ princemilla, thanks so much for ur guidance.. my phone is now working fine..no more service disruptions. Am very very grateful. May God bless ur efforts.

Hello Engineers in the house,
I have a Samsung Note 4 I bought used some about 5 months back. First of all, a few days after I bought it from the previous owner I noticed the phone wasn't getting recognized anytime I plugged it into a laptop. I decided I could live with it. A month after, the phone kept restarting for no reason. I then decided to do a quick google search and found some people online had the same issue with Samsung Note 4. They all suggested using this app(can't remember the name now) that keeps the phone on and stops it from restarting. That fixed the issue for me and I continued using it.
A few days ago, the phone went off and all attempt to put it back on have proved abortive. I was hoping someone on this thread can help me or possible anyone willing to buy the phone for a decent amount from me.

Gracias!!!

People mostly use xender in transferring data and you can't set default storage location for xender in the phone main setting. Open your xender and set ur preferred location to sd card in the app settings

Whats the issue...kindly specify

So, I bought this Infinix Note 3 phone last year and it was working fine for some months.

Later, I noticed that once it gets to 15%,which is when battery saving mode sets in, it will drain to zero in under 2 minutes. This began to occur after some months.

As time went on, it began to do this when the battery reached 20%, then 30%, then 40% and so on. It got to a point where if I charge to 100% and unplug, when it gets down to just 95% it would suddenly become zero and go off.

Thought maybe it was the battery (and it did become swollen) so I got a new one. Same thing happened after two weeks (that one also became swollen). Then I got yet another one. Same story, again. The phone is on its fourth battery in one year.

I use the original charger head and good cable. Moreover, the charging port has never had problems so don't think it is a charging thing. Even the phone panel has been serviced by an engineer but that changed nothing.

I've been told the only option left is to replace the motherboard.

The phone is rooted, but I don't think it is a software issue either. I've flashed it multiple times without avail.
Your advice would be really appreciated, Sir.

1. Was the charging ic ever looked upon?
2.. in d course of changing the batteries did u per chance charge any of them with different charger.
3. I really i dont support rooting phones it void every option off doubt about the cause of this .

Have ur device flashed with stock rom, downgrade to either kitkat or lolipop.

Try this n see different

Thank you for your response, Sir.

1. Sorry, but what is a charger ic?

2. I've always used the original charger head. I've mainly used just the one cable (which I bought for 1k) for a year, though sometimes I use others here and there. But it has always been the original charger head.

3. I understand your point about the rooting

The phone came with Marshmallow so it isn't compatible with KitKat or Lollipop. I have both Marshmallow and Nougat stock roms for it. I'll try the Marshmallow and see what happens.

The Phone barely gets networks and says 'NOT REGISTERED ON NETWORK' anytime I try calling, what could the problem be and how can I get about it? I've Tested several sim cards (GLO/Airtel/MTN) all still the same, there would be network for a while then the next thing it trips and says 'SEARCHING' I can't even access the internet. I think at this point I'm just going to give up. The USB never recognized on a system. So it's pretty hard to perform a factory reset at this point. O want to sell of the screen if anyone is interested.

Give the Samsung to technician, ask the person to recover the boot through JTAG since the USB is bad

You can perform the reset via the phone settings... Doesn't have anything to do with USB...

I once had an issue where my phone wasn't recognised by system.... Performing a factory reset solved it
