please house help me , my mind never rest because of this, when i was filling my form i made a mistake and filled "NO" IN THE SPACE WHERE THEY ASKED "HAVE YOU TRAVELED BEFORE" I HAVE TRAVELED TO 2 COUNTRIES BEFORE AND MY INTERVIEW IS BY THE CORNER please what do i do to correct this mistake in my form or should i go for interview if the question comes then i will answer "YES" that i have traveled before and make the vo understand that it was a mistake, please i need your advice. thanks??

Always busy at work too, and seeming not to have learnt from previous experience.

Will it also be out of place for someone to have thought of you using an agent going by your past post?

upload your picture and make sure the new Ds-160 code and the one on appointment printout rhyme oooo, do everything before 3rd of April. Those are the reasons people are turned back.

Evening, really appreciate your views and suggestions on these thread. Please I will like to ask the requirements (1) if only one of the parent is applying for us visa and travelling with the kids. (2) Do we need to notarized the consent letter if the answer to question 1 says something about consent letter. Thanks in anticipation of your response

Seriously it’s very annoying to see agents form they know what they are doing. A lot of them are only interested in the money. That’s how sometime last year a family friend of ours just carried his money and gave to an agent. The agent said he was going to package him. At the day of the interview this man went to the embassy at lagos and was given the white paper. He called every one and was so happy, the funny part is he didn’t disclose what the agent did for him sef. Hubby asked him where the white paper was and he said the agent collected it from him. Shuuu... that was how he didn’t get any email to come collect passport or even call sef. After 3 months we kept asking him what happened if they have contacted him. Na so the guy just open up that the agent did UK visa, Malaysia and one other visa me I can’t even remember. Hubby was like ha that your lucky they didn’t even contact you unless it would have been worse. Please in a much as we all want to travel for one reason or the other let’s be very careful whom we meet for visa consultations. It’s obvious this our family friend has been banned from US and might have problems with UK if he ventures. Moreover most of this agents haven’t even crossed to Ghana sef. I’m a fan of DIY but if we must use agents I prefer you use registered agents who are just there to guide and direct you through the process. Many thanks to everyone who is contributing God bless.

US Visa Seekers Will Have To Disclose Social Media Identities

Travellers to the United States will soon have to submit their social media identities, previous telephone numbers and email addresses, a measure that could touch 10 million people per year.

According to a State Department plan published Friday, visa seekers — whether visitors or would-be immigrants — will be presented with a list of social media platforms.

Applicants will be required to identify which they use and provide “any identifiers used by applicants for those platforms during the five years preceding the date of application.”

“Other questions seek five years of previously used telephone numbers, email addresses, and international travel,” the notice, published in the Federal Register, revealed.

When these new rules were first suggested last year as part of what US President Donald Trump has called “extreme vetting” of would-be visitors, civil liberties groups sounded the alarm about privacy.

But officials say they could identify potential extremists, such as one of the attackers in the December 2015 San Bernadino shooting — who got a visa despite allegedly advocating “jihad” on social media.

The measures apply both to the DS-260 “Immigrant Visa and Alien Registration Form” and the DS-160 “Application for Nonimmigrant Visa.”

In the last fiscal year, 559,536 people applied for US immigrant visas and 9,681,913 for various forms of visitor visa. Friday’s announced measures will not touch diplomatic or official travelers.

The announcement begins a 60-day period in which interested bodies and members of the public will be allowed to submit comments on the rule changes, which are expected to be approved on May 29.

Pls Lady G,I need your advice.I am a medical doctor,I intend going for a medical conference by August.The trip will be sponsored by my hospital.I am 31years not married but I want to apply as married with a kid.I don't have any travel history.I intend to spend just 3weeksMy immediate brother is a LPR in the U.S.My worries-I don't want to disclose that I have a relative there. Abuja and Lagos,Where do you advice for interview schedule and what other supporting document do I need.I have an invitation letter from the conference organisers and I have my hotel reservation.Pls I need your advice.

Starting off on the wrong footing/note. For you to know the abbreviation "Lady G" seems indicative of some knowledge of the thread. You have just approached a no-go-area of this thread, and your submission won't help your case at all.
