Just do what I did when my friend showed me a pix of an hiv patient he is in love with. Just created a new e mail and sent him all he needed to know about the girl. He even came complaining to me about the mail he received from an unknown person not knowing that I'm the unknown person. I even told him to investigate first. He told me he is not investigating anything. That it is over between them. I'm yet to tell him that I'm the "unknown person".

Tell your friend but this is exactly how you should do it.
Go to him in person and tell him to tell his wife to be very careful of that friend that sent you the supposed message, "imagine the kind of rubbish your wife's friend sent me"
Show him the message to read for himself. You should never say those words with your mouth
At that point your friendship is justified
Whatever he makes out of it then becomes his business
But mind you whatever the outcome he will initially be mad at everybody including you but eventually he will come to appreciate your friendship

guy i dey beg you let your friend know, you can get a new sim register with another name, make sure you are with your guy when you about sending the message so as to be sure the phone is in his reach because if the lady is hiding it from your guy she might see it first and delect it. beg your guy you'r sorry and plead him to go for a text soon(if you with him that moment you will see the reation on his face if he knew about it earlier), he might still go on with the wedding and when they keep looking for a child you would be at peace because you tried your best.
