If you like leave nairaland.

Are you more concerned about Linda Ikeji's reputation or the truth in what I typed?

I dare you to avoid men for the next 10 years & remain celibate.

I dare you.

I triple dare you!
I have never discussed relationships on NL so if that is what feminism means to you it is none of my business because that is not my priority right now.
As for what you typed that is none of Hippolyta's business I was only mentioned.
Linda Ikeji's life and business not my concern.

Well Nigerian men have completely misunderstood the concept of feminism as usual. Independence, financial strength etc has nothing to do with feminism. Linda Okeke has never claimed to be a feminist. So because she’s successful in her own right and independent that automatically pushes her into this box called feminism? I’m so confused.

What is it really? You can actually have it all as a woman, and I don’t think some men don’t like/understand this. You can be financially independent as a woman and still belive in the traditional concept of the household, no? Feminism is the movement of woman rights and the equality of sexes. What does that have to do with being independent? Isn’t that a basic adult necessity regardless of gender. Linda has never talked about not needing or wanting a man, in fact she’s always talked about being a traditional wife and having her own children.

Moral of the story. Being financially independent and successful as a woman doesn’t automatically make you a feminist. If you believe in gender equality in all sectors, then yes we can give you that title. Linda ikeji empowers/motivates women, this has nothing to do with feminism. Understand the difference.

This is totally different from the definition of Nland feminism.

It's too late for all of you to have sense...AMEN

Equal benefits, but not equal responsibilities.

Hatred towards men as a result of numerous breakups.

They want to have access to all manner of works, but not carpentry works, mechanics, plumbing and other hard laboring works.

You and I know you were the one who made no point by immediately implying people who I see as role models as those two women so accept my sympathy on your disappointment.

The Linda I know isn't a 'feminist'.
I have always seen posts of her wishing for marriage.

So, I don't know where you all are getting this from.

Anything to lash at feminist I guess...

Feminism and marriage are not mutually exclusive.

Linda has entered the marriage on an equal or greater financial footing than her spouse. It is unlikely she will ever need his financial support.

Sort of like bey and jayz.

Let me do reverse chauvinism. I hope its not only his dick the guy is bringing to the table. Or if it was poco case, his dick and abs. If it was maky case, his dick and tongue tongue

I am tired of explaining that to them, now I just watch them rant.
Being a feminist doesn't stop anyone from having relationships with men. It doesn't mean don't have sex with men...

Linda only encouraged ladies to be financially independent. Which is a good thing, except some people are trying to be mischievous here.

LOL @ abs. Now I just need a rich man... a very rich man embarassed

Sometimes you need to be careful and apply sense in what you post. The person of oyb is not your mate and who are you to call pocohantas an evening newspaper is it not your type that would marry a 70 year old for green card?An evening newspaper just married a British prince sometimes if you think you are being humourous you are actually not.

Feminism does not stop a woman from getting pregnant even out of wedlock,
Feminism does not stop a woman from having pre marital sex
Feminism does not stop a woman from being a single mom if it is her choice .
Feminism does not stop a woman from making her choices.
Feminism liberates women sexually and makes the woman to take responsibility of her sexual decisions.
So what is wrong in Linda getting pregnant?
If a Lady says that she doesn't want a man's money and can cater for herself does not mean that she should turn into a lesbian,
If she is hungry for sex, feminism does not stop her from going for a d**k if she wants.
So I don't see the reason for this thread
Grow up and stop hating.

Truth be told I only read about what she said on this forum.I hardly take interest in following the lives of celebrities. In her defence people change, views change and opinions change after all she is an adult and her child is financially secured so she owes you no explanation as to how she lives her life.

It's better to marry a lady of 90years for green card than to marry a Nigerian lady of 30 who's a liability.
