Hello guys , please i need to be in Russia for this world cup. i try to purchase a ticket on FIFA website but all what i see there available is for disables. please what else can i do to be in russia for the world cup.

is it possible to buy tickets when i get to russia.
must i get a visa to be in russia?

please guys advice me on what to do , time is too short.

thankyou

It illegal to buy a disable ticket if you are not disable but Do you have a fan id already or have applied for one??

The fan id in laminated form or The electronic form of a FAN ID provides the entry of a spectator to the Russian Federation and also the exit from the Russian Federation .

Hi Guys,

Nice thread.. 2 of my friends and i will also be in Russia for the world cup, we have bought the 3 matches tickets, we are flying from S.A to Munich and from Munich Kallingrad for the matches.

I noticed Kalinngrad is about 4hours drive from warsaw, we are considering renting a car and driving down to warsaw for 2days before returning back to Kalinngrad and fly down to Volgograd on 22nd.

Also St Petersburg is about Helsinki is also about 4hours drive.. we feel we can also drive down to spend a day or two and tour Finland.

before back.. anybody here with similar plans, so that we can do the road trips together? or someone who has done those routes before? We are planning to get Multiple Schengen visas, so entries wont be a problem.

Any Nigerian in Helsinki and Warsaw who can point us where to go and hang out? We are entrepreneurs, we will love to look at possibilities , if any

Recommendation and suggestions will be appreciated

The Russian Federation warmly welcomes Nigerians, who will be traveling to witness the 2018 FIFA World Cup at first hand!

We are glad to remind that you can embark on your trip to Russia visa-free provided you have a valid Fan ID.

Please take notice: Nigerian nationals planning to travel to the Russian enclave city of Kaliningrad from mainland Russia by land through Lithuania for the Super Eagles’ opening game versus the Croatian team on June 16m must have a Lithuanian transit visa or Schengen visa.

Nigerian citizens can apply for a Lithuanian visa at the Embassy of Belgium in Abuja.

You can come to russia for the world cup only if you have the financial resources and your purpose of coming is only for the world cup tournaments, but I know some Nigerians with their mentality of staying back , russia is not Western Europe where u can stay back and apply for asylum , if u risk staying back after the worldcup , then you are really in hot soup , as an illegal no runs for documents , u can’t even marry with that status , deportation is automatic 5 to 10 years ban , even if u decide to return yourself it’s still automatically 5 to 10 years ban, it’s called запрет , no runs to extend your documents , if you mission is to stay back don’t waste your time ..

I hope they listen!
They will still listen to that smooth talker that will convince them of his ability to get Putin to make him an Oil minister

lol traveling from Russia to Western Europe is very difficult let nobody decive you on that.is easier to travel from Nigeria to the west.

i have got my fan id already. i have only one ticket so far which is the Nigeria-Argentina match.

FiFA Emailed me over the Easter break asking if they should still send the ticket to naija or they hold it for me in russia. if they send it to naija i have to accept to pay the custom duties as naija charges duties for match tickets

i chose to receive it in naija.

my new problem is that when i applied for the FAN ID last year my passport hadnt expired. it expired day before ysday. thing is that the FAN ID if youve got yours has a code on it just like a passport. as in you can scan it and its actually the passport number of this old passport.

went to immigration office to renew and they took my bio metrics but told me that there are no booklets. i told thm i need it by mid june and they said it should have come out by then

Why can’t FIFA send the ticket as email attachment to be printed
It is also weird that our Customs will charge duties on the ticket.

I don't understand. ..Russia is visa free for Nigerians?
register from fifa.Com...My brothers are going. Maybe i will but schools are still in session here till end of june for kids..And tickets i think is the only major expenses my brothers got theirs for less than 400k...Although from Ireland here its about 600euros..

From nja it's cheaper i think Turkish Air..But every other was made either easy or free for the love of the game from Russia with love..Lol

We are saying this same thing. If you knew then, you’d have done it and use it for the application.

Can you get a new passport when the old one hasnt expired?

Not true. Except if he will be present in russia to personally sell it. Nigeria iceland is not that HOT A TICKET. And it takes place in volgograd which is not really a tourist town save for the world cup and it is far. Go and sell it on FIFA website and cut your 10percent loss. If you wont be present in russia you wont likely get it sold. You can list it on the internet too. Find out on tripsadvisor...If it were to be nigeria/argentina now, you can even sell it for triple. Ive been looking for that ticket since february. I only just got an american willing to sell for me when we get to russia at the gate. See you in russia

RUSSIANS ARENT AS NICE NICE AS AMERICANS OOO OR THE UK,
immediately the game is over , there will be a heavy clamp down on illegals still staying in the country , and the mere fact that some of them are pure breed racist even makes the imagination of what they can and will do to illegal blacks staying behind fearful. if you know you want to cross , do so before the game is over DONT EVER THINK OF OVERSTAYING , IT CAN BE WORSE THAN LIBYA .
but nigerians no go hear grin grin grin
