The music from the speakers filled the air .That was the only way he could conceal the fact that he was crying'.It rather strange for a man to cry but he found himself vulnerable since the death of his prevous jewel'.
He could hear his busy body neighbours Mr and Mrs Okonafor bang his door endlessly but he didn't care.He knew they would get tired and leave.They occupied upstairs of the 3bedroom flat while he was downstairs.

Not like they weren't noisemakers themselves. Mrs okanafor's car was his alarm everyday since she tries it by 4am and only until till 6 the engine starts'.And it was noisy as anything but he never complained.

For crying out loud she isn't all by herself he tried to justify his actions. She is at the hospital and there are other persons there he shouted aloud like he was having a conversation .

He put the car to an halt to clear his mind.

Geez,what's happening to me he hit his wheel in frustration.

As if his hands had powers of their own as he turned his car back to the hospital direction and drove hastily like his life depended on it.
"This was definitely unlike him for the past 5years,he hadn't cared about anyone for God knows how long".

There he saw her fighting with sleep as head danced to a particular music to and fro.

"Go home" he said authoritatively .

He loved submissive women.His late wife was so submissive,she did his bidding and not hers.

Am not going. She wiped sleep off her eyes.

You and I know she needs to eat when she wakes up.So for that sake am ordering you to go home and prepare something'..or else the hospital would make provision for her food and you know how expensive and tasteless they are.

She dashed to the bathroom where she had her bath and a change of clothes.Settling for a black denim trouser with pink and white polka dotted chiffon.And at the side of her handbad laid her nursing uniform which was neatly folded.

Without applying any makeup on her face,she brushed her weavon and applied some oil on it
Before returning to the kitchen to pick up the flask.she ensured she had lock everywhere properly before leaving the compound.

She trekked to the main road where she stood under the sun sweating profusely slightly irritated by the unavailability of taxi.

She checked her wristwatch for as she hissed angrily.

Ransacking her handbag, she brought out her face towel gently dabing her face.

It was like God answered her prayer as a honda packed beside her.
