10 days inclusive of weekends. But if you are really in a hurry, you can discuss with the representative that will bring the form that is if you havent given birth yet.
I think its possible to expedite it immediately after you have your child.
I intended to pick up before but when i calculated my uber money i decided to do next day delivery which costs $75. $30 delivery takes about 4 weeks or so.
So i think you can get it earlier if you indicate the option of expedited BC right from the hospital.

Good morning house,
Please I used tourism visa to have my baby in the US however i sent the change of intent letter and got a response an hour later. At POE, i told them am in us to have my baby and for vacation also was then asked why i did not inform them at the embassy so i should the change of intent later. Showed prove that i have paid my doctor and hospital fee and still carried cash of $8k which they confirmed all and wished me a safe delivery. Sent my passport for dropbox renewal. Was invited for interview with my family. Was asked if i paid all my bills i said yes showed the VO zero balance letters but he still denied us visa. This happened in febuary then i was not even pregnant not planning to. However i just discoverd i am 5weeks pregnant. Please house what can i do to get my visa because i ll love to have my baby in d US. Thank you and sorry for the long post.

What u will do is to go for US B2 Medical visa, Go with necessary documents which have been mentioned here a lot of times and correspondences with your US Hospital and your US Doctor's acceptance letter and then finally tell the VO the truth about your pregnancy at the Interview.

This is strange, I came in through Dallas POE at about 7 months plus and I didn't even spend up to 5 mins with the CBP before I got stamped with 6 months. Dallas POE is almost the easiest in this country. very sad for her o.

Pls what hospital did you use in Dallas

Hello house,
Please who has used Oakbend NICU? Baby has been there for 5 days and counting now, it started with glucose level, then calcium, then phosphorus levels either too high or too low. We initially paid all paediatric fee at the beginning of treatment and was issued zero balance. Now baby has stayed extra 2 days now. Initial payments for paediatric was 3 days. I will like to know how the hospital charges for the extra days, anyone with similar or a different experience please share.
Also who knows how much endocrinologist charge per visit?

Thank you for your help always

Hello house,
New to this thread and I’m a first time mom so I need serious help from everyone here.
1) Please someone help with a doctor or hospital in Dallas where I can have my baby. Cheapest one pls

2) I don’t have a visa so i’m applying for one. From what i’ve read here, it seems it’s better I land at JFK then take a local flight to Dfw..Now my question is; on the visa application form, ill have to state it there that I’m going to dfw since that’s where the hospital is right... so what can I state as my reason for stopping at jfk first?

@client007

I just called the UStraveldocs number(01 440 6218) again and was finally able to book a 221G appointment. Would suggest you do same if you can. You would need to specify that the appointment is 221G so you can get priority dates. All the best!

Ebony84:
Same issue i've been having been trying to book for over a week now. I have called and e-mailed them and it has still not been resolved. Planning to call again on tuesday.

Book an appointment around DW due date. Eh if your wife is due today add an additional week. Once that is sorted. Then you have to wait for delivery there's no two way about it. If DW is doing CS and you're sure that will also guide you on the date to choose.

Please what is a notary appointment for?

1) This is a DIY thread, you come, you read from page 1 (Yes it takes data and time but the rewards are immeasurable). In my case, I read from part 3 when I came here first. I can testify that I acquired wisdom. I wouldn't recommend that you choose a doctor solely based on pricing. Do your research.

2) When filling your visa, you wont have to give them your Itinerary, you just state where you want to be in the US. For example, there is no straight flight from Nigeria to Florida so if I'm travelling there, I will have to land somewhere first. If I'm travelling with Delta airlines, that somewhere will be Atlanta. That place where I first touched down is where I will now have the burden to prove that my final destination is Florida not Atlanta. The embassy will not have to know that my POE is Atlanta because I wont even tell them which airline I plan to use
All the best

November is far, u need to apply earlier incase the outcome didnt favour u,then u will still have time to reapply again. So u better start early so far the Visa will still be 2years. So applying early wont do u any harm at all.

Has anyone use Doctores Para Ti recently for Birth Delivery in USA, and is it advisable to pay delivery bill in advance for possible visa assurance at the Embassy. We are expecting Twins

I will appreciate all the tips that can help my wife on this....

Once you are denied, you have to wait 6 months. You can't reapply immediately anymore

Hello Chimzy09, Sorry...but this information is incorrect.

It’s not incorrect. Once you try to book an appointment, the portal asks you if you’ve been denied a visa previously in the last 6 months. If you click yes, it doesn’t give you an interview date (it blanks out the dates). And it’s also stated there that if you lie about your refusal, you will get denied at the interview for misrepresentation.

Whilst i understand that this misconception has been going around for quite a while... i beg to differ. I have several people between May and June who were denied, reapplied, picked the 'Previously Refused' option and still got a date for the interview. Infact, the dates that pop up for that category is actually earlier than the other option. Someone still re-applied yesterday in Lagos, and got a date in September for an interview and i am quite certain that Lagos dates are in November right now.
