And it’s also stated there that if you lie about your refusal, you will get denied at the interview for misrepresentation.
Kween2014:
Whilst i understand that this misconception has been going around for quite a while... i beg to differ. I have several people between May and June who were denied, reapplied, picked the 'Previously Refused' option and still got a date for the interview. Infact, the dates that pop up for that category is actually earlier than the other option. Someone still re-applied yesterday in Lagos, and got a date in September for an interview and i am quite certain that Lagos dates are in November right now.

Hello everyone.

Awesome job being done here. Please I need your advice oh.

I obtained a visit visa via dropbox while pregnant and used it for visiting twice as well as a conference before using it for childbirth in 2016. After childbirth, I made two subsequent trips to the US with my visa expiring last year. Between ending of last year and April this year, I have made trips to three schengen countries as well as Ethiopia, Kenya and the UK. I recently found out I am pregnant and applied to renew my visa via dropbox seeking a B2 medical visa. I just checked my status now and it read 'administrative processing'.

Gurus in the house please does this mean I have been called or will be called for an interview? Any idea what is possibly going on?

Thank you so much.

not necessarily. if you're called for an interview, you'll get a mail to that effect with the 221g form attached.
Otherwise, it will change to issued soon. Renewed for my kids a while back. was reading administrative processing for some days before it changed to issued.

Has anyone use Doctores Para Ti recently for Birth Delivery in USA, and is it advisable to pay delivery bill in advance for possible visa assurance at the Embassy. We are expecting Twins

I will appreciate all the tips that can help my wife on this...

There are always patients from Nigeria in El Paso (www.doctoresparati.com). Paying in advance may or may not help. If you are not able to provide proof of strong ties to your country, it is irrelevant if you prepay your medical bill since you will still be denied and your denial will have nothing to do with your economic solvency. On the other hand, you may also prepay, and the officer may not even ask for proof of pre-payment and approve your visa, or not.

In some cases, they ask for additional documents to provide proof of financial solvency so it helps if you have pre-paid your bills since this is proof that you have the money to pay for your services and will not ask for govt assistance, therefore, you are economically solvent. So paying in advance is essentially a roll of the dice on how much you want to risk that the officer will or will not ask you for documents that provide proof of payment during your interview.

No he will join the American citizen line.
He should go with the form filled but not signed. Photocopy of his passport data page and the original for sighting. He can also go with your passport data page photocopy as well. He can also send immediately to you via DHL at the American Embassy car park for 18500.hope this helps

Hi gurus in the house, pls my sister have intrrview in lagos in sept with her son, her husband intent applying for his own after they must have gone for the interview if its sucessful cos they went together sometime in April for tourism and was denied.

But this time, she is doing medical visa. The question is because dates are getting far and her EDD is in dec. If the husband apply now, he can get a Nov date as against waiting and applying in sept when available dates might likely be nxt year and baby must have come by then.
What of if the wife's interview isn't sucessful? What will the hubby now say he will be going to US to do as the intension is really going to experince the birth of their new baby.

I think the husband should still apply now. Reason should be vacation and to witness the birth,so that if witnessing birth is off the table,he can still use it for vacation.I don't think it matters much wether the wife gets it or not. I read of a woman here who applied for medical visa and baby came prematurely before her interview date. She went for the visa interview and got the visa

Your friend seem to have a good profile in terms of travel history and home ties but another thing that should be checked is this has she previously been denied US visa, and hope she dosent have a contradicting profile. If not she could always reapply maybe the VO wasn’t in a good mood and could be luckier with another VO depending on her EDD cos of the new 6months wait time to reapply. My two cents

In the spirit of giving back, got in thru Atlanta to houston yesterday. Visa was to expire in March 2018 & I did Dropbox renewal (B2 Medical) for me and hubby In February stating I will stay for two months while hubby stays for two weeks and was successful. Hubby wasnt able to use his expired visa and was still re-issued another visa. To God be the glory.
Flew Delta airline at 36 weeks and no fit to fly was asked. Got into Atlanta & joined the queue.
Got to my turn and I greeted the cbp officer & handed over my passport to him. He took my thumbprint & asked my reason for coming, I stated childbirth and summer vacation. He asked why? I stated that I wanted dual citizenship for my baby & since I had the first baby here in 2013, I also want to give this second baby equal opportunity. He asked where my first baby is & I told him back in Lagos but will come in July with hubby once school vacates & we all return together after the new baby would have arrived.
He requested to see my flight ticket showing I will go back and I showed him. He asked if I have doctor & cash & I responded yes and stated how much I have which is above $10k. He stated that he will stamp me in but I need to go into another room to fill a cash declaration form as it’s not illegal to come into US with more than $10k but it must be declared. I said thank you and I left with the escort to the other room.
Sat down there and when it was my turn, I filled and signed the form. Quickly grabbed my luggage and checked them in for the next available flight going to houston as I missed my first flight due to the long queue at immigration. Will have my first doctor appointment on Friday.
Wishing everyone successful visa interviews and renewals, safe trip and successful POE interviews. And above all safe delivery to every preggy mamas.

Hey people,

I had my baby a few months ago and came back with so much baby milk as I didn’t want to buy at the outrageous prices here. However, I’ve recently switched my baby to Aptamil. I have loads of similac for sale at a giveaway price. It’s the 30oz (873g)tins and I have about 20. Pls just make me a reasonable offer. I’m in Abuja but I don’t mind sending it down anywhere.
