Good evening everyone. Which assessment body is faster between CPA & CAANZ? I would also appreciate if anyone with experience can advise me on how long it takes to assess degree and work experience by them.

Thanks.

Hello good people
I just got my MSA assessment result as unsseccessful from TRA. This was stated as the reason

This letter confirms that Trades Recognition Australia (TRA) has assessed your skills under the TRA Migration
Skills Assessment Program.
Your application has been assessed as UNSUCCESSFUL for the occupation of Fitter (General) – 323211 for the
following reasons:

Most times this is caused by only one thing. Your transcript not getting to them in the stipulated time before your cause was finalised. You have to confirm from your school if your transcript was sent and from the carrier if it was delivered.

Alphadoor:

I see you also have limited experience, therefore you cant claim points for that, this is currently a major set back because the game is different (tougher) now
20 points in English is a must

Thank you. Please if i aquire 20 on English, 30 my age and 10 for academics. if i apply for state nomination wch makes it 70. for 489

Will it still be tough even without the points from work exp?

It's quite unfair because sending transcript from school was not part of the requirement. I only uploaded a scanned copy of my transcript.I mailed them for further explanationwhy i was assessed as unsuccessful and the reply was that my school did not reply them when they tried to verifly my academic records. very useless school

Does anyone know if a draw has been conducted since the beginning of the financial year in July? This is to help me plan my next move.

SA now nominates my occupation. the list was updated today 16.7.18.

Must my total point be 65 before any of the states nominates me?
NT and SA require AU $35,000 and 20,000 respectively for individual applicant requesting for nomination. How easy it is to cross this hurdle as I dont have 9m/5.4m?

I also find this on NT website
real feedback from NT employers on your skills and experience (auto-generated responses from job websites and employer HR departments are insufficient)Does this mean I have to start applying for jobs from Nigeria to get a nomination?

Please help my solution

Please help

And it's like TRA are in habit of not contacting applicants until final outcome. Had it been they had, you could have known which buttons to push to get them their desired reply.

Sorry about the outcome. All this kind thing, man suppose sue/petition the school. They would be giving emails addresses that they don't have correspondence for or they simply ignore emails. Chronic ineptitude

It's not impossible,
however, there are many IF's to consider

How long to nail 20pts,
How long will assessment take?
and most importantly...........will the state required point still be at 70 by the time you acquire 70.

what is the maximum point you think you can attain?
your academics can still be 15 anyways depending on assessment outcome

whats is the maximum point you can attain.

All in all, 20 points is key though............................ maybe you should start from there.

what occupation are you planning to nominate?

A draw has been conducted on the 11th of July.
for SA, you just need to say you have it, no proof or evidence required.
Dont know about NT
yes your total score must 65 with state nomination point inclusive

Did anyone else experience this?
I did my medicals before we got ITA and applied for visa and my husband did after we got ITA and applied for VISA.
Immiaccount showed health clearance provided for both of us up until two weeks ago.
Now its showing health examination required for just me.
I thought it was a system thing and it will correct itself eventually cos that had happened in the past but this one that it has refused to correct itself.
Is this anything to worry about?

Why not check via e-medical to be sure your medicas is okay.

Hello guys, I don't know if there's any honest person here who can give me AUD for NGN.

Please before you go about and start calling me scam, I kindly implore that you check well before doing that on a faceless forum.

That said, I'll prefer also to deal with the likes of bellong, etc.

I am 100% real.

Secondly, what suburbs in Melbourne are nice for one to stay in? I'm to leave Nigeria on the 2nd of next month.

I will be asking a lot of questions in the coming days as I'll be needing lots of guidance.

I can be reached on charles.simms7@yahoo.com, obviously not my real name but from there, I can take it up and establish real contact.

Kind regards

Kind regards.

Qualification
Section 3.4 of the TRA Migration Skills Assessment Applicant Guidelines states that TRA will use various
assessment sources to verify that your training:
 was accredited and regulated by an appropriate governing body
 is at a comparable level to the Australian qualification relevant to the nominated occupation
 is directly related to the nominated occupation
TRA was unable to verify your qualification/s met all of the above requirements. As a result, TRA has not been
able to confirm you hold a qualification that is comparable to the AQF qualification for your nominated

I submitted all the required documents HND And ND transcripts and certificate in Mechanical engineering from yaba college of education. So the above reasons are all null. Am at a cross road Because I will have to ask for a review which will cost me 900 AUD after I paid 100 AUD for this assessment

Please i need an advice.... I want to have my assessment with TRA Next Week. But am scared of wasting 1000$. Considering the following

1. My transcript does not have my school website and email indicated on it. It only the name and address with stamp

2. Will they recognize OND from a state polytechnic ( Osun state polytechnic Iree) as AQF diploma

Hello gurus in the house, senior men and women them...i hail thee
I have been a silent follower since part one hoping someone will ask the question i have in mind.
I am the principal applicant as a Civil Engineer and i intend assessing with Engineers Australia, my fiancee is also a graduate in Electrical Engineering with a 2.2 but no work experience.
My question is:
1. Claiming 5 partner points, must my fiancee have work experience ?
2. Will Engineers Australia give a possible positive assessment with 2.2.
3. If all things are good with the 5points claimed successfully and we are still not married, what form of documents will immigration need from us to prove our relationship? ( or we can do court wedding sharply a night before )

Bosses them, ahbeg help a brother

(1) NO

(2) I dnt think having a 2.2 will be a problem. Let him jst write a good CDR(probably with his school project, IT.....etc)

(3) proof that you av been in a genuine and continuing relationship for atleast 12 months before the date you lodge ur application. such as:
a) Joint bank account statement.
(b) Billing account in joint names.
(c) Joint leases or mortgages.
