Yam and fish beef stew! Issa yam movement. Yam is actually cheap in ketu if you can make the trip. I buy in bulk so don't mind going all the way there from Lekki.

As in ehn....if I tell you I still bought that size for N1100 in April with begging from a Yoruba seller ooo... when I got home I couldn't cry. Just because I felt like eating yam. I couldn't even tell my husband I bought for that price, I told him N900 instead and he was like , how much is slice bread again?

booqee:
you say wetin??! shocked

The one paining me now is I saw garden eggs some sellers away while on the purchase for 'the expensive yam' but, didn't buy as I expected the price of the yam to knock me out. To go back with my huge harvest was a seemingly long journey. I'm on the ultimate search for garden eggs now

Yuneehk:

Tor. Thanks dear. I'll definitely tag you when I make mine

I would be glad...please do

Note:- I converse in the little Hausa I know and complete with Dana yana so ya si chi ....meaning my son wants to eat it

This is a late post. I was supposed to post this last Saturday but my NL app was misbehaving.

Anyway, this is introducing my famous assorted vegetable sauce. I make it with:
*carrots
*green beans
*fresh peppers (yellow preferably for taste)
*green peppers
*fresh tomatoes
*spring onions
*white onions
*cucumber(I don't cook this. I cut it in small square shapes to be sprinkled on top of the boiled white rice)
*fried goat meat. You can still use chicken or turkey or even beef. But I have never used fish with it.

NOTE: this food can be eaten with boiled white rice, yam or spaghetti/macaroni.

No thickener? I've seen people use grated Irish potatoes or corn starch for theirs. Yours looks good tho

Oh no! This dish is totally different from the one you use thickener in.
1) You don't use a lot of the ingredients on this one. A lot.
2) You don't cut the ingredients here this small for that one.
3) I use only chicken for that one.
4)And yes, I use corn starch as thickener on that too.
5) This one I posted has less water in it than the other one which requires enough water(depending on how many people eating it though) before the thickener is added.

So, they are totally different.
