OUI places adverts every time, I was once invited for an interview as AL, I met a lecturer who briefed me of what you complained about, he was swearing that I would regret it, I lost interest in the whole stuff and moved on.

Actually, the first sign that something is wrong is if an organization is always placing adverts for employment. It means that there's a reason or reasons people are fleeing, unless such organization is expanding. In the case of university, this is rare.

See them yarning rubbish.
People that have no idea what it takes to run and keep a successful business.

Firstly, I strongly condemn any employer that treat their employees unfairly. Employees are entitled to 1hr break for every 8hr and 30mins extra break for anything above 8hrs. Employees should also be paid fairly and entitled to 2 weeks sick leave and 2 weeks vacation with salary still paid.

Having said that, I must add that from personal experience, The average Nigerian employee have very poor work ethic. They just want to collect salary without bringing any value or doing what they’re told effectively.

If you wanna collect big salary, what’s your value?

shut tap.

Hmmm...and I saw their advert that they're just about recruiting medical doctors for their medical centre...pls can we relate better on my mail: mooredavid298@gmail.com
Will really appreciate some extra info pls...thanks...

Well sir, for some reasons I won't want to give out my mail (dont want my identity blown)but I will keep replying you here. All I will advise you to do is to be real careful about working for OUI. . If unemployed, u can start working with them pending when you get a better offer. If you are working somewhere that offers you peace of mind but with less salary than OUI is offering, I will advise you not to resign just yet. Investigate and ask questions. OUI isn't a conducive environment for working. Every teaching staff there are searching for other jobs. God bless you.

Correct bro!!! Worked with a Briton, a German, an American, an Indian before and I must tell you Indians, or Asians generally are the worst amongst them. Very wicked and no regard for the sanctity of human lives. Europeans and Americans are good to go sha, enjoyed every bit of working w them
It's only an Indian man that will make you work 7am-7pm (mon-sun)
No off, salary poor, no overtime, no health hmo etc
Wicked subhumans

Actually that’s how they work in their country o

They task themselves a lot and nna men you need to see the work ethics.

I work as a consultant and they report to me from India and sometimes I engage them in meetings and we work for 8hours and they continue working while I go home to return the next day. Most times they barely sleep, I had one who had 3 hours of sleep each day for 1 month. So understand when they slave drive you and push you but they still need to be checked though in Nigeria as the demigod feeling shown by them is horrible in their small companies

seriously, if I were the president of Nigeria, I will shutdown many companies for enslaving Nigerians, especially the innocent dehumanized Nigerian youths angry

If u can't pay staff well to at least be OK, don't hire!

If u need 10 staff, hire 10 staff and pay them well instead of hiring 50 staff to appear big and sharing the money meant for 10 staffs to 50 unhappy staff who will be praying for your company to shutdown out of anger and frustration.

My dear Nigerian youths, it is better to be hawking galla, open a kiosk, forget forming, go learn handwork, open worksg, forget graduate level, bend down and humble yourself and learn a skill or start a business no matter how small than to be slaving for these wicked souls in the name of working and wasting your future angry

I know it isn't easy, but try....it is better to be self employed, own a shop, a kiosk or gather your close friends and form a small business group than to slaving working for 50,000naira per month that won't feed u well for a month, it hurts me seeing and hearing these things, I just wished I can change all these automatically angry angry cry

The last paragraph gave me hope bro. The thing is starting a business ain't easy with little or no capital at all. At least, in my own case.

God help us all

I think I can manage except @ the bolded,
No matter the amount, I can't work in that environment.

I know some people will be killing themselves there. If a staff falls and dies, he or she will be replaced the following day.

The work environment is too toxic. You know that type of job that you'll wish the day will not break so you wouldn't go back there. They have no regard for staff welfare.

Hmmmm!!! So what's the way forward!!!
Entrepreneurship and skill development!!!

Instead of wasting time doing these hopeless peanut jobs with no future, pls go and learn valuable skills like fashion designing, welding, carpentry on a high skill level, plumbing, POP, metal works, tiling, web design + programming/coding, graphics design, etc or plan and migrate to a more promising country legally.

These jobs will only kill your self esteem, make you more scared of the future and more scared to face the future. They kill time and waste future angry

Nigerian graduates must forget that useless status: "I am a graduate", it no longer holds water....the value has died...any graduate still feeling fly because he or she graduated from either university, polytechnic or college of education is wasting his or her time. forget the name and humble yourself and join others to do whatever they are doing to survive.

The last experience I had was with GIGM, mehn, that one is hell on earth.

It is really saddening to watch the trend. How Nigerian youths have become so liverless and cowardly. They now rely so much on prayer; prayer cannot build great cities....God has given mankind the wisdom and strength to create whatever he wants, so why disturbing Him again with prayers with no action angry angry

Nigerian Bottling Company (Coca-Cola) as a contract staff in their sales department. Your shoe sole will lose its soul and you'll buy new ones every month. That's because of The Great Trek you are required to embark on every day of the week except Sundays. All because of 40k basic? God punish them and their outsourcing firm Mark Calthers.
