Saw the signs as early as last year if not earlier.

a few posts ...

With humility, I recall the past.
...AIICO was selling for between 0.56 to 0.58k when I 1st recommended and screamed for folks to BUY, and if possible ACCUMULATE !!
It's currently on FULL BID @ 0.82k.

The rest is history.

bigjay01:

Ride on, carry go jare

AIICO will surely join

bigjay01:

i said this a few weeks ago. There were a couple of days of over 200m volume each.

Yours truly is well positioned though

bigjay01:

If anything, the news will trail. 200m+ sometime last week definitely not from retail investors. The only reason why the price is at this level is because they intend to increase their share capital in their quest to restructure their business ala CUSTODYINS.

Yours truly will watch and hold onto what I already have.

bigjay01:
there is definitely something cooking in AIICO. 39m+ so far. issorait ooo

It may sound funny but as far as am concerned, otedola has removed his hands from that company not until another investor pump in money, I can see the share in the region of 10- 16 it was before. I predicted this to my friend when he sold 15% of his holdings though I was able to jaaa at 42 no loss though. So my brother the choice is yours. The following points must be in your mind:
the company that has its revenue from power and suddenly wants to sell off all the sub
What will happen to them if all the sub are sold off and nothing again to give them revenue aside regulated down stream?
If am in your shoe, I will bail out for now and re enter lower

fo has more than 90% of their assets as "awaiting to be sold"......OK if its sold are they going to do what gsk did by distributing the proceeds to investors

WHAT DO I DO WITH FBNH

I bought FBNH at 15.50 saw it closed at N8+ yesterday. I don't know what to do. Sell, wait. I have no fund to average down now.
Please advise me.

Thank you

In a situation like dz, the best bet is to
sell 50%, keep d money and buy back at. sub N5 in nov/Dec... Then recoup your loss in June when Foreign raiders will bring back there portfolio to the NSE

Ha, all the way from 15
Just keep for long term, and as a lesson
Always assess your risk of potential loss first, before thinking of potential profits

Lol, change at old age grin

To respond to your question, the market will gain bear tempo this September. So expect fidelity to hug 1.2ish (ultimate destination 70kobo). Zenith should break below 18 this September (we still wait for 13 in December)

Note: this is gut-expectation and by no means prediction

Dear, the question you asked is beyond me as per say na student I be.
I would say throw it to the house so you can get diverse opinion.
For me, I would say dont sell it if not in urgent need of cash cos the loss would be massive, chopping half of your capital.
You see, you dont have to discard most of the bear shoutings here, and especially when you actually see stock prices retracing. It is well.
Na little I fit talk be that from the notes I jot down, I no fit read now cos na weekend we dey. grin Over to my bosses. grin

A very Good afternoon to Everyone in the house. I would like to commend every contributor on this forum. Amazing work you are all doing. I've been following this thread since 2005 (perhaps even earlier sef not sure now) but from the days of Dexter, CP, Mercylicious, BigAss, MyJoy etc and have gathered tremendous amount of knowledge; so much that if I had to pay for I wouldn't be able to afford. Many Thanks again. God bless your generous hearts.

I have immense respect for fxuser, OGG, wanajo, oga Emma and CP - Such invaluable assets you are. Hyness and parisfran are also such commendable women.

@ DeRuggedProf pls are you Dexter? If you're not you sure do sound like him

Also pls what's your advice on FO. Bought at 57 or thereabout; selling now is just real gbese. I'm trying not to frek out but mhen!
Advice from anyone pls.
Many thanks in advance

my brother . . we hv all been here before.

- You need to let it go (also emotionally )
- be at peace and accept dat it was a bad trade, it cud hv been a good trade also
- Every loss is just an experience on your way to been better
- Improve on cutting losses short without hesitation (takes time to get this)
- Think in probabilities always (read Mark douglas, soak it , digest it)
- Accept that every trade has a random outcome
- Review d trade , learn from it well , improve risk mgt, u'll make it all back and more .

this is nt popular cos it's not easy, some will say keep it forever or till next yr or forget about it till it break even or keep it as a ''long term investment '' hehehe ..

tis well
