Mexico tourist visa is easy to get in Nigeria, all you need is a good statement of account and hotel reservation. The visa will be issue the same day and you only pay visa of $36 when your visa is approved.

Thanks bro..How is there ICT industry and what's is chance of IT professionals.
benpedro:
Depends on how educated you are. When I arrived, I worked as an English teacher for a year in different schools and was earning around 1,000USD monthly. This might seem meagre but when you consider that your monthly living expenses is less than 400USD living in a detached duplex with 24hrs electricity and all the basic amenities with unlimited Wi-Fi. You'll be glad for it. You can also buy cheap salvage cars from the United States and rent them to UBER drivers for 500USD monthly. I have an Urhobo friend here who drives trailers and earns more than 2000USD monthly. So it depends

You're right except where you said that applicants would only pay a visa of $36 after the visa is approved. According to the new embassy procedures, the visa fee of $36 is now non refundable and must be paid before having an interview. This is the link to the embassy's new procedures https://embamex.sre.gob.mx/nigeria/index.php/en/consular-affairs

The only difficult requirement to getting a Mexican tourist visa is this below;

Provide evidence of adequate economic solvency by presenting any of the following documents:

You can provide this; Documents accounting for an employment or pension allowance with a monthly income equivalent to minimum $500.00 USD, free of taxes, during the last 3 months, as well as proof of stable employment during the last year.

Or this;Investment documents or bank accounts in the name of the applicant with a minimum monthly average balance equivalent to $1,500.00 USD during the last 3 months.

Or this; Real estate property deed registered in the name of the applicant with at least 2 years (minimum) ownership and proof of stable employment for the last 2 years.

If you can't provide any of them, tough luck.

Bro..It seems you don't want to answer my question.
benpedro:
Mexico is a very beautiful country with happy people. People smile at you everyday unlike Nigeria where everyone is fuming smiley . I have been here for more than 3 years now, yet I've never come across any form of racism, instead I'm being treated like a king(one of the reasons I always want to run back to Mexico whenever I'm in the US where white people give you that dirty look) . The feeling where your pupils want to give you coins so as to touch your hair, where adults want to take pictures with you and their family and the guys in the bar want to relate with you and invite you to their table to drink for free. In my second year as a teacher in a big private school here in a very rich neighborhood, I was promoted as the coordinator of all the foreign language teachers in the school (over 20 of them and most of them Mexicans) after I helped their secondary school students won their first ever state English debate challenge trophy. In Nigeria, the job would've been given to the principal's concubine smiley or a family member

OK my brothers and sisters. I knew I had to leave Nigeria immediately I learnt Buhari had won the presidential election that year March 2015. I immediately applied for a Mexican visa and fortunately they granted me the visa. This month will make it my third year here in Mexico and glory be to God, I'm in the process of becoming a Mexican naturalised citizen. I admit, Mexico can never be compared to developed countries such as the USA, Canada, Australia or the Schengen area, however Mexico is miles ahead of Nigeria. When being compared to Mexico, I'm afraid to say this 'Nigeria is a shithole'. I would like to help some Nigerians visit or even start a life here.Ask me any question about Mexico and I will be eager to reply.

Thanks for sharing this bro, aside from schooling job, is there job in their construction sector and engineering? and is it possible to turn a tourist/visiting visa to a working one without knowing anyone like you do ,and at the end starting up your own small scale business or working with an engineering or construction firm?
Pls I need your respond.thaanks

This question is a bit personal but I will answer it for the interest of others who need the information. I came here with a tourist visa to visit my girlfriend whom I have known for about 4 years prior. She helped me get a job in a school and they helped me process my work permit and temporal residency, although I had to leave the country to Belize in order to do the process. There are lots of professional jobs here especially when you speak good English. To get the Mexican citizenship you must live legally at least 5 years in Mexico. Or 2 years if you have a Mexican baby or are married to a Mexican. If you fall in love with a Mexican woman, nobody says you can't marry her. Many American friends in my church who lives here fall in love and marry Mexican women and have gotten their citizenship. Mexican women are not the type you'll just use for visas or papers, they're too beautiful, loving, caring and homely for that. You'll get trapped at the end. smiley

My question Sir...Do you eat tortilla? grin

it's impossible, Mexicans can't travel to both US and Canada without visa, I stand to be corrected.

As of May 2018, Mexicans can travel to 158 countries without visa including Canada, UK, Japan, South Korea and all the Schengen area and stay for upward of 6 months without visa or even a prior notice. As for Australia, all they need to do is apply online the same way Nigerians apply for Dubai visa. See the link below https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Visa_requirements_for_Mexican_citizens

from ur post, it shows that visa is required to visit the US. why arguing bro?

They can travel without a Visa to Canada. But they have to go through Canadian immigration on Mexican soil before being allowed to get on the plane. Most are not permitted entry into Canada though for obvious reason.
