1. It's always good to be honest in your visa application and keep your records clean, just as you explained here that you did an intern during your undergraduate and your free lance job for a magazine company..do the same in your visa application using the space provided in the form.

3. Regarding the 6-7 gap, you need to explain what you were doing during those years, that's better than saying nothing at all

1. Deposit Minus 16000
2. Add remaining sum to either £9135 ( if you studying outside London), £11395 (if studying within London.
3. You can use any currency, as long as the needed sum is complete and gurus here advise a little extra for example to be on the safe side use N500 - £1.
4. Savings or Current.
Not company account, No Fixed Deposit etc.
5. Make sure not £1 drops during the 28days else you start to count allover again.

My name is freddie from imo,i graduated from imo state university and want to do my masters abroad. i considered united states but during my research,i discovered that UK offer more msc courses on biomedical engineering which is my first choice,also medical mycology and pharmaceutical biotechnology which are my second and last alternatives respectively.Now i am very confuse in the sense that,1.i have no one in U.K that can assist me if the need arise,but i have an uncle in the united states. 2.i came out with a second class lower division in plant science and biotechnology and i dont know if i can get admission in any of my chosen Msc courses. 3.i am not familiar with the admission language terms used in this forum and lastly,i am almost mad and so frustrated....LET SOMEONE HELP ME WITH ANSWERS,PLEASE.

i would advise you start your masters in nigeria, finish it in flying colours and then apply for phd scholarship that would take you abroad unless your uncle is ready to sponsor you for masters.

I am a recent graduate with a first class degree and billed to complete sevice next month. On this note, I want to start my application for masters degree in the UK..
As I do not know about the process, I want to ask clearly

1. What is the needed requirement to apply for admission?
2. Can I still apply for admission for probably programs commencing January/February?
3. In naira, like how much do I need to have in my personal account?

Hello did you indicate for Prodigy to be your official sponsor when applying? if yes then its wrong.

In the UK we did another round of tuberculosis tests but blood tests as it is compulsory. Mine came back negative but my daughter is said to have been exposed but not sick. Just an exposure. She's been given preventative treatment.

Now my question, do I have to do another tuberculosis test or I present the one done in the UK. Secondly for my daughter, do I have to do the test for her as she's already undergoing treatment. We have only been in Nigeria for 3 days.

The rules are: You will not need a TB test if you lived for at least 6 months in a country where TB screening is not required by the UK, and you’ve been away from that country for no more than 6 months.

Since you have spent more than 6 months in the UK, you are both exempted

Ok Then.The rule of non resident in a Tb prevalent country for six months holds aswell.However,a chest X-ray if done in Nigeria will show negative and no skin test is conducted in Nigeria from experience only chest X-ray.U can do a chest X-ray in Nigeria for submission to be more comfortable if u wish.

Good too hear that you intend to study biomedical engineering in the UK. I ve currently enrolled too, if you have God u ve gotten all it takes, u don't need to knw anyone. 2.2 is a good grade if is 3pointer. Don't be frustrated dear, ve once be in your shoes.
