Somebody shout hallelujah for me jare. Who did it? Jesus did!!! Congratulations sis. Your processing time will fly like the speed of light. I'm next to testify SOON. This third attempt must deliver the perfect result.

TESTIMONY TIME grin
If I had 10thousands tongues, it still won't be enough... NAREKELEMO
It's not PR or ITA but it sure feels like one of them.
Deliverance has come from IELTS.

1st attempt: June 2nd- LRWS 8, 6.5, 7.5, 7.5 MOD
Remark but came back unchanged

2nd attempt: July 7th- LRWS 8.5, 6, 6.5, 8 MOD

3rd attempt: September 8th- LRWS 8.5, 7, 7, 8 MOD

What did I do different, I decided to trust God completely & put aside my over confidence.
No exam has humbled me like this not even the almighty Bar Finals.

CRS is 450, taking off my clothes & shoes grin no need for swimming trunk.

Hi. It took 5 weeks for mine to arrive Nigeria. I advise you send yours to an address (of someone you know) in the UK. It will take lesser time to receive it. They can then scan and send to you by email. Congrats in advance on your ITA.

Pls house , has any one done pcc uk, how long does it take to arrive in Nigeria
My crs is on #450. Hopeful to get Ita in the next draw.

Quick one for those who require clarification on ATS from ICAN. This is the outcome of my WES evaluation, using ATS and Bsc from the university. Please note that ATS was in 2007 and my entry mode for Bsc was a direct entry....So please feel free to use your ATS to claim two or more certificates. Peace

Recent ATS certificates have ABWA on it and WES doesnt give any Canadaian Equivalance for this however there is a way out.

If you are in lagos, go to V.I and ask them to send a letter to WES stating that ICAN is the issuing body of the exam certificate. I ICAN is aware of this an has decided to send letters/emails to them upon such issues.

Good morning, am creating my EE profile but am stuck some where. For someone like me that has applied for study visa (twice) before what am I suppose to answer on the part where they ask if you've applied to IRCC previously?
Should I also include the UCI number for my previous application?

Thanks
You'll answer YES and your UCI remains the same

Just did my Biometrics in Abuja and it took me 15mins. Seems like I was the only one who came. The booking wasn't necessary because they didn't even ask for my appointment letter, he said they only ask when there is queue like Lagos. If you don't live in lag pls just do ur Biometrics in Abuja, me I came all d way from south south.

If you are not in Lagos, send an email to atsexamtranscript(at)ican.org.ng to seek for guidance.

S/he would still have to prove the relationship sha, along with submitting proof that the person is truly a citizen/PR (T4, utility bills, picture of PR card or passport). These things might be quite hard to get if s/he cannot currently contact the person.

I think your option of writing an LOE after would work sha but I'm also hoping it doesn't count as misrepresentation too, being as s/he has already claimed the points and still doesn't have a way to prove the relationship or that the person is actually a citizen/PR.

PS: I can't remember if extended family members actually give points though, I think it is just siblings. I added my aunt to my application and I'm not sure it gave me points (well to be fair, I actually didn't know how to check)

Tojued:

This is the question they ask : do you have a relative in Canada who's a PR or citizen?

They don't ask : do you have a relative in Canada whom you can prove you're related to?

I only said what I'd do if I were in such shoes... Based on others' experiences the VO would simply deduct the 5 FSW points since you're unable to establish relationship. But all n'a still my opinion sha.
Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Workers Program- Connect Here Part 5 by Nobody: 11:18am On Sep 26, 2018
Yes, that's correct. An aunt or uncle cannot give "sibling" points.

Points for siblings in Canada

You can now earn 15 additional points if you (or your spouse or common-law partner who will come with you to Canada) have a brother or sister who is:

- living in Canada and
- a citizen or permanent resident of Canada

To get these points, the brother or sister must also be

- 18 years old or older
- related by blood, marriage, common-law partnership or adoption
- have a parent in common

Also have similar issue and what i have read regarding this on canadavisa thread is to say NO - (write an LOE that i am not claiming points for them)

Say "NO" for a relative and you don't have to supply any docs. This is not counted as misrepresentation. In the LOE explain that you are not claiming any points for your relative. In the end if the relative is sibling you will be mentioning there address and everything in your family form. - Copied

Its just like work experience one is not claiming points for being put in personal history as against under work experience. It can still be linked to you

The main issue is ensuring they still appear on your application one way or the other.

Thanks for the reply. I have used the CRS cal and either of us can do it
I will be the PA cos he spent over 7yrs in UK and to get reference letters for jobs done will be a hassle. Thanks

joo2018:
I think you should first use the CRS calculator to know who will be PA between you and your hubby. Then you can tackle the self-employment issues. Only the PA will need to validate his work experience as long as it is not Canadian.

Hello House, I am the principal applicant and I know my work reference is compulsory, does my spouse need to get work reference also. I saw this the attached online meaning she does not need to. Pls house and seniors help!!!
No. Job experience for the accompanying spouse does not add any points to your CRS score. So you might as well remove it and save madam the stress.

If you can, do a court wedding first...the ceremony can follow later....then include ur wife in ur application.

its even better you start your application and then add your wife in february after ur court wedding, cos adding her now will crash your CRS, which means she has to write IELTS and/or provide ECA.
I wld say again, start first then include her later even if it is after u have gotten PPR as long as you inform IRCC immediately the court wedding is done.

My cousin was in a similar situation. His wife was in the US on a course. In his case, he traveled to Accra to make a request for an extension and he was granted an additional 30 days. I believe an e-mail should handle this. You all will be fine. They get this sort of requests. Calm down dear and congratulations. wink

VFUSION:
Please I need advise.I am so confused. So I recieved my PPR mail on Sept the 19th.And the mail says we shd submit our passports in 15 days..Don't know if this is 15 working days sha.My hubby is out of town with his passport and he doesn't get back till next month..Don't really know what to do.
1.Do I send them a mail asking for and extension?would that reason be valid enough?
2.Do I submit with the kids then when he comes back submit his seperately?

Please what are your tots abeg...

I just weak...sometn wen person don dey wait for since..
