Yeah I am using top feed super starter, in my area nobody sells starter, so am thinking of using super starter for the full 4 weeks, before i switch to finisher,hope it won't affect them negatively?

nice idea...for the feed I gave dem starter for 4weeks but later switched to grower cos of the cost of finisher...they eat like no tomorrow ..presently on 7th bag

Yeah I guess I was just scared they will not grow to the size and weight I want if I stock them by October as it is my first time, as my area they prefer very heavy and tall birds during Xmas

Day 8, the one on the scale I call him xander the protector,i think he is the heaviest and the most aggressive of them all, any observation on their growth?

Good, i was asking because, the way you feed broilers when you are targeting weight is quite different from the way you feed them when we still have 3 month to Christmas. Feed supply in this case should not be "ad infinitum" if you really want to make profit. Since they're staying for long time, make sure you use 2nd lasota and Gumboro. Give them anticcoci every 12 or 15 days if on wire base cage.

Please can you enlighten us more? Am learning as well. The first I did about 30 chicken and they grown up well but 4 of them developed neck problem. Just bought them for fun without any preliminary knowledge but am thinking of investing more

ones ur birds are upto 6days old, replace the chick tray with the small or medium siZed iron feeding trough. Again use planks cut to size the drinkers can sit on, and raise the drinkers to the birds butt level. This is to avoid feed and water contamination, which may cause cocci or other bacterial infections.

Okay thanks,will replace it today, but the iron feeder I bought they find it difficult to dpfeed from it, they leave it and still rush the food on the tray
