Dont go inside with your phone, you can leave it in the car if you go with one, or give it to some people that will register it and keep for you tilll you finish at a cost, they are usually sited inside the carpark if it is Lagos, not sure of Abuja.

u mean u intend to state, u want to stay only 3 days in usa?..hmmm thats a red flag, paying big money, travelling over 24hrs..just to stay 72hrs in usa and go back, most VO will deny u visa based on that alone,

as per your questions, the americans rarely look at bank balances..except maybe for intending students, and women who want to go n give birth..the americans have zero regard for any nigerian document , even our passport na how we go do

Does it pose a problem if my sis earns more than her husband and if asked who is sponsoring..what would be the appropriate answer?should they run a joint account?

They intend going for vacation with their toddler

A friend's mum went to the embassy on the 5th of Sept,she was given a white paper to pick her passport up after 9days. Till date,nothing. I checked online for her,it was last updated on the 20th of Sept. I sent the passport number to passportstatus@ustraveldocs.com,the response was,there is no status update. Pls,what could be the problem or can someone help with the lagos consular's moniker on NL. Thanks.

BOSS THANKS FOR THE REPLY! Am going just to go write an exam that is given only in the USA...am a student of a Nigerian university and will be graduating 2021! What are my chances

Went to the US embassy for interview on Monday. The lady denied me because she said my child that I will be traveling with to the USA is a Canadian citizen so she cannot issue me visa. I gave birth to him in Canada and applied for Canadian visa and disclosed my intent of giving birth in Canada and all bills were fully paid.

I was angry at her reasoning but at the same time feel she is being biased and discriminatory. Therefore I will be reapplying ASAP may be not expecting to receive an approval but solely to argue my points as to why she would discriminate blatantly like that. So at my next interview, my aim is to make sure I go in and once asked a question answer and bring up my previous interview and the reasons for my refusal and use that as an opportunity to put my facts and case across. I don't mind the application fee but I want them to hear it and make sure they hear it.

Applying early is not the same thing as having interview early.

I don't think it is a problem.

There really is nothing wrong in your sister sponsoring the trip. There is no law that says a husband must earn more than his wife .

They don't have to run a joint account for this purpose.

My parents got issued their visit visa on 5th of September till date they haven't gotten their visa/passport, i have sent an email to the US embassy regarding this issue....we haven't gotten a valid information on the status of their visa /passport. please has anyone experienced this issues? Please I would like to know if is compulsory to travel for the first 6 months once usa visa is issued? I was going for a training as part of a nursing group but all the others were refused except me so the program have been rescheduled to next year May so the others can reapply again
