Ok thanks, I thought there was different kind of couscous.
When i was in Douala, I used to eat one they called couscous maize.

Couscous maïs is French for corn flour/corn fufu. It is totally different from the couscous in Seahawk's picture. Couscous maïs is like semolina.

such a motivation smiley, but sadly I can't start learning how to cook now, the few times I tried it was disastrous... I feel I don't just have it in me sad

Also, eating out is very expensive.. Sometimes I calculate the amount of money I spend on eating out every month and it goes over the bar...but what can I do,, I can't help it... My friends think I'm eating from expensive eateries just to show off and intimidate them but they don't know that I have no other choice as I can't even eat from those local restaurants sad

Anyhow.. I'll be willing to learn again if you can teach me yourself smiley smiley...i think we can work something out..but I must warn you that I'm a slow learner grin

Grilled cubed plantain.
This is not fried. Just a mild spray with baking spray and placed in the oven at 180 degrees for 20 minutes.

Perfection. cheesy
Auntie chef well-done..
I need some help/advice ..
Of recent I suddenly developed a eating disorder...
I often find myself very dizzy after eating a well balanced diet most especially during the night time...
I work as a software developer and it's during the night I find time to take care of office work as well as my personal projects ..
Hence for some months now I've found out that am practically feeding on junks..
At times Ill buy a long row of biscuits and some milkshake or buy alot of buns and a bottle of fruit juice.. I eat once a day so the junk cycle keeps repeating itself over and over..
I've tried eating in small ratio or taking light meals like oats or fried plantains e. t. c
The only thing that seemed to work is when I eat till am heavy and sleep immediately ( 3 - 4 hours) on weekends..
Can you recommend lighter meals and how do you also handle your intake of junks.. cuz I always seem to have one biscuit or candy or chocolate in my bag

See better snack! Any idea how to make such soft dough as yours? Flour, water, measurements etc Have you posted that before?
A nicely made dough is the key to a great meat pie!

Porridge yam. Beans and yam porridge, ISi ewu, nkwobi, chicken vegetable nkwobi. Just keep In a tight container, even if it ferments it's more delicious then. It can stay for a very long time.

A better alternative to junks you can have in your bag are coconut, avocado pear, eggs, cashew nuts, cucumber.

I do take avocado pear, cashew nuts and cucumber together... I don't eat eggs except they're soaked in some sauce... But still I don't think these are things that can fit into my backpack

Well, you have to find a way to snack healthy. Like be very disciplined about it. Fastest way is to subtitle for fruits; apples and bananas, cucumbers are my go to fruits. I would av suggested making smoothie but you might not have time for dat. You can't overeat apples. InfAct by d time you eat 3 you feel full. Same with bananas. I snack a lot but I don't eat junk. I'm lazy with chewing fruits so I make smoothies. Yoghurt apples, banana, and what other fruits I can find. then I blend. Attimes it's just smoothies I sip through my day and I don't even feel hungry till late evening. If u r nocturnal this will be hard. But you have to try

I don't take junks or biscuits as I don't eat anything made from wheat flour ( gluten).

Deactivate and be watching as a visitor. People who quit nl never deactivated, they just abandoned the site. The ones that deactivate usually turn into guardian angels. They lurk around and before u know it, its the birth of a new moniker. I know you will see this message elder001 AKA nobody.

You just spoke my mind sis. He probably realised that people were already getting tired of his BS. But trust me, he's not watching as a visitor cos he already has a new moniker.
