We all know how that story ends ladies.

For those who live under a rock “struggle love” is the concept of a woman being with love with a broke man. They are struggling in life but she stays with the man.
Now what is wrong is rhat when a man is broke, who do you think will take up the tab? You of course.

The men will play mind games and manipulate you to do his job in addition to yours. And you will end up either being worn out, with debt and just being on the losing side, and when the relationship goes south or when he does earn money, he dumps you to go after the woman of his dreams, or if you are married, cheat on you with said woman. Tyler perry's acrimony comes to mind. It is just a matter of time.

Which begs the following questions, what will a woman be doing with a broke guy in the first place? What kind of woman does such? Simple, to the first question, the 3 main things a broke man can offer a woman include,
1. Good looks which will fade away and comes with a penchant to fall for his schemes and manipulations.
2. Good sex, which can cause some women to.lose common sense and which is a double edged sword cos i doubt she isn:t the only recipient of such sex.
3. Great company, but still you can also get that if you friend zone him anyway.
While all these may be good qualities for an awesome one night stand, it is not the criteria to go by if you want something with more commitment. For that, the main criteria amongst others you should be looking for is a provider, responsibility and security.

Moving on to the second question,What kind of woman stays with a broke guy in the first place? Answer-A ride or die chick. She is simply the girl who isnt afraid to be down with her man, she'll do anything he needs her to. In hip hop culture where the term was born, she is a woman who is willing to support a man and his illicit lifestyle, despite how it might endanger or harm her. Some even go as far as to die for their men. And it happens everyday in different forms.Bonnie and clyde style. Another example is cookie from the series Empire who served a 20yr jail sentence for her husband lucius.
Ride or die chicks are either terribly naive or have no self esteem and mental issues cos there is no other sensible reason for a woman to behave like a lapdog.

Struggle love is not true love , it is selfish love. True love will say let me get my act together, then i will come for you. True love wont drag you down cos misery loves company. Ladies learn to realise the difference between the two. Most ladies would have been ride or die chicks at least once. The wise ones extract themselves from that toxic situation and learns from it.
