This is a necessary step to help maintain peace as we mourn the death of HRH Agom Adara, who we lost in the early hours of today to the criminals who abducted him last week.

The Kaduna State Government calls for calm in all our communities. The criminal elements who perpetrated this crime should not be allowed to divide us.

This is a struggle between good, decent, law-abiding people trying to uphold the peace and criminals who want to divide and destroy. It is not a struggle between religious or ethnic groups. Let no criminal find succour in faith or tribe.

Let us unite against every criminal activity. Let us stand together as human beings who have a right to live in peace.

The bolded is plain deceit.

That many innocent lifes are wasted is no news but the killing of a tribal chief is now a breaking news, to the extent that a curfew is placed to mourn him. What an injustice to lifes of common man. Until when we accept that fact called class struggle between the rich & poor.

Truth be told this violence is highly fueled by hunger and anger among the youth. Shortly before the 24 hour curfew was reimposed I was driving past the television garage area of Kaduna town and despite the presence of four army hilux vehicles with heavy army personels the youth were holding sticks ,smoking all sort of cigarettes and chanting like people getting ready for war.

It's just the children of the poor on the street ready to die for a country that does not care. While the children of the rich have all been moved out of the ever volatile Kaduna town.

May the soul of the Agom of Adara rest in peace, it's a huge shame that he was killed this way. I just hope southern Kaduna people can bear this loss.
