You are wrong bro. I am here and there are lot of casual/menial jobs for students. Far much than you can ever imagine but the truth is the other guy has to at least 2,000euros with him after sorting out accommodation. The reason is that you aren't allowed to work till you get your GNIB(now called Irish Resident Permit card), as well as registering for PPS too for taxation purpose before one is permitted to work. All these mentioned will take him nothing less than 2 months to achieve on arrival here in Dublin. So the guy who inquired on finance should tighten his seat belt. I am not trying to discourage him though, but I feel it's right for me to say the gospel truth. Life here is strictly OYO. Nobody go send you oo.. Not even fellow Nigerian students.

I don't know about that. Then if it's not stated on the site as you mentioned, then it's among the SOL as you stated.

None at all. It's a pre-requisite that you pay at least 6,000euros as minimum before the embassy can consider granting you visa. But in the case that such payment was made and you were refused visa by the Irish embassy, the school will refund you the payment made.

I wouldn't know about Grifitth college but the 6,000euros payment is visa requirement, requested for by the Irish embassy.

Your watch just began. You can't track it. Give it 4 to 6 weeks; you'd hear from them.

Guys plss I need ur suggestion..

I wanted to use the education Bond for proof of statement.. unknowingly to me..I thought I can pay with my dollar card.

So I changed the money to Dollars. So wen I registered..I got to know that i can only pay using by bank transfer. Or through the money in my euro account..
and I don't have euro in my euro account. because getting euro is very very very hard...

So I want to ask. If I should just leave the money in my domiciliary dollar account and just use it as proof of funds.. couple with the 2 million I have in my savings account..

So my main question now is. If I can also use my domiciliary dollar bank statement for my visa application with the 8000 Dollars in it...
Thank you.. pls I need ur suggestion fast plssssss..

My people....I urgently need help with clarifications below.

I got an offer to DBS for Jan 2019 intake. My target is against 2019 Sept due to personal plan. Now my questions.

1. Is it possible to use same jan offer for Sept admision as suggested by my agent.
2. I heard that is possible to invite my family to join me in Dublin close to the end of the programme as a family man.
3. Can I get a job that will earn me payment balance after the 6K Euro as student.

An experience student advise is urgently needed for a quick decision.

1. No you can't.. Apply when you are ready.. I'm sure they will give you another admission. Its no big deal

2.. I have no idea

3. Yea, you can get job easily here but mostly care jobs. Not office jobs. Your wages will be enough to take of feeding and transportation. I'm not sure about school fees

Thanks for the response.
Pls, what's your view about getting better job after schooling and opportunity of settling down in Dublin after 2 yrs post graduate visa. Pls share your knowledge base on experience there.

A student in Dublin or someone with experience should help with answers to this question. Any opportunity of settling down after 2 years post graduate visa.

@2, I'm only aware of the fact that a PhD student can bring his/her family along. For MSc? I doubt. But may be possible, like inviting some of your family members to come for your graduation shouldn't be an issue. I'll try to confirm this.
