Hi guys,
EA requested that I provide snapshot of tax clearance from me. One of the companies I worked for was deducting tax from salaries but didnt remit. I realized this but time didnt permit me to push for compliance.

I only spent one year there but need it to complete my 8years experience need. Moreover, one of my career episodes is from this company's experience.

Please, I need advice on the best way to go about this. Prompt response will be highly appreciated

Thank you.

Go the the Inland Revenue Service (IRS) office of the state you worked and pay in arrears. Then they will process the document for you. Go with your employment letter, or proof of employment documents. It will also be good to notify your employer before heading to IRS.

By the way, you can contact EA and ask them to give you sometime to request for the document.

Goodluck!

can he get pr fr electrical with 70 points?
Alphadoor:

You have done your homework already.
Age is 30
Ed: 15
Exp: 5 or 0
Eng: 20 is the best

PURSUE YOUR PR NOW NOW

There are upcoming changes to the PR visa which may not be too pleasant.

You don't even need up to AUD10,000 to land the PR in a about 7 to 12 months based on the current processing time. Assesment inclusive.

As to whether you can pay your tuition fees as a student.
It's not impossible but you have to work through your nose, super prudent and sometimes defer some courses. When you are done with studies you still have to apply for same PR for continuity in OZ.

As a student, you have limited work hours right and running expense.

Visit the Australian student thread for better insights

zanyzara:

@vikmeek

In addition, while pursuing PR is the wise choice but

Will you have the patience?

Will you give all to have 20 points in English to increase your chances?

Will you write a topnotch CDR to get your desired outcome as you may be assessed to be electrical engineer, electronics engineer, telecoms engineer or even engineering technologist depending on the quality of your CDR?

You could defer your admission as a plan B and start the PR process.

But if you think all of the above would be too much to handle, then go for your Masters and start your PR process afterwards.

Zany.

hey bro. i have got 70 points for electrical. is that ok?

Thank u so much. I will do that immediately. They actually gave 30th Nov. but I believe the earlier the better.

One more thing. I discovered that company's name didn't appear on the tax clearance I collected form IRS Lagos, only my name, though the reference number is there. Hope that shouldn't be an issue?

Thank you

His age point would be reviewed when he turns exactly 40yrs. However, if he has received ITA before turning 40, his age point won't be reduced.

Yes you can. The minimum point required for EOI is 65 points. It's the competition and urge for faster ITA that make people aim for higher points. The higher your points the faster your ITA.
