Hi Guys,
I just got admission with TU Freiberg and need clarification on these;
1. Before booking for interview appointment, must I fund the blocked account or just create the account first for the sake of booking appointment and fund later.
2. Is it mandatory/does the VO expect you to have Toefl or Ielts before visa application since I got my admission with proof of proficiency in English from my Alma mata
3. Is it mandatory to know or enroll for German language course before visa interview
4. From German embassy website, the don't seem to have openings for visa appointment... What's the best time to book for... My school enrollment Time is 1st March to 11th April 2019.
Thanks to the our gurus here as I anticipate a swift response

@mba
Please is FU under uni assist or direct application?

People should be careful of scammers on this thread. Someone from this forum charged a friend of mine 300k for admission processing in Germany. She paid 197k before later realizing that all is needed is just UNIASSIST. The idiot refused sending her admission letter because she is yet to balance up. Pleasee beware of fake agent. Germany admission is the easiest of all countries.

That's why we always say Read! Read!! Read!!!

If your friend had spent just 3k from that money to buy data and read from just the beginning of part 5 . It would have been a different story. But we like things the easy way . Finally when you get here you would see there are no short cuts. As we hate to read, you would learn to read the hard way.

Last year I spent 4 weeks mostly at night. I read from part 2 until towards the end of part 3 when I joined the thread. I didn't scan through I read and digested ,knew the names of the grand fathers of the group, I had a book where I wrote key points down .

We have to help ourselves and learn how to blame others less for our downfall.
Its a pity what happened to your friend. But let's help ourselves it's a lesson to all.

Good luck to those coming in summer. It's worth the pain.

German admission is the hardest. Germany is not like UK or USA, that once you have the money to pay fees they will sharply admit you. Even if you have a low grade. But to get into a german university, you need a good grade. German Universities are tuition free that’s why people all over the word apply to Germany and admission is difficult due to the high number of applicants.
Especially if you are applying for a course that is highly in demand. Why do you think many people go for bachelors instead of masters, its all because of not being able to get admitted for a masters course.

People tend to apply for a course that is not highly in demand and not related to their bachelors all because they want to leave Nigeria.

So please don’t say getting admission in Germany is easy, it’s actually the most difficult and very stressful process.

I want to know how exactly your friend was scammed, someone help him/her to get admission and all the processes associated with admission. They both agreed on a payment and the person fullfilled his side of the bargain by getting your friend an admission. So please explain how exactly is it a scam ?
It will be a scam when your friend doesn’t get admission and the agent is asking for the money, that is when you will say its a scam.

Your friend is very wrong by not paying up the money. She is lazy for not trying to start from page one of this page to know how to apply and get admission cus all the information needed is here and alot of people are willing to help her for free but she decided to follow the easy way out by paying someone to help her. So it’s definitely her fault and she is wrong for not paying up the agent.

The process involved in getting admission in germany is very stressful. We all know it. Am in Berlin now and i know what i went through to be here. I know how many rejection letters i got b4 getting admission. Unlike UK that will immediately give you admission so you can waste your money on them.

Tell your friend to do the needful and pay up. She wasn’t scammed. Someone did all the stressful work for her and she got admission. I wonder how you will call that a SCAM. If it was in Germany, your friend will be arrested for breach of contract because this was an agreement and the agent did his part. She should bear the cross and pay up and i hope others will not be as lazy as her and learn to do things themselves.

SO PLEASE DONT SAY GETTING GERMAN ADMISSION FOR A COURSE YOU REALLY WANT IS EASY. BECAUSE WE ALL KNOW ITS NOT EASY.

Going by your explanation, I don't seem to believe the word"scam" best suits the essay above. It's called "Business"(a system that offers solution). We appreciate your counsel (though this is not the first time we are getting such sweet advice here), but please prevail on your friend to cooperate.
Note: IF you're too busy to read through this "success diary", nothing stops you from paying to get it done; PROVIDED it's not just a "nairaland business". #Work-schop?... Stay blessed.

If we agree that I get you admitted into a german university by doing all necessary stuffs combined with the busy schedules we face here in Germany, and I successfully got the admission and you refuse to pay up the balance, Do you expect me me to send you the admission letter abi

That's not scam, its business

Your friend was lazy not to read the thread. Although some peeps got to know about the thread afterwards, and also not everyone is aware of Nairaland......................

Tell your friend to pay abeg, OR do another admission process

N.B I'm not the person, just my 50 cent opinion...

Have a great weekend

Be smart, have your passport number copied to your clipboard, stay woke. From 11.50pm everyday (including sat and sun) set your browser to refresh that page every 30secs (or you can refresh by yourself like every 5secs). Do this from 11.50pm to 12.50am. I assure you will get a date.

Please how long was it before they sent back your passport with visa after AM dropped?
Dankeschon:
Good evening everyone
I really thank God for everything.

Had my appointment/interview on 29th August, and after a long wait of over 8weeks, got my AM yesterday 29th October 2018.

The wait was not easy tho, buh still worth it.

I advise we should always be calm and patient. The guys at the Consulate are actually on their best, buh that shouldn't stop your reminders through emails, and calls. Most times the hold up is usually from your destination alien office, cos mine took almost a month for them to reply. I was able to get their office line to call them, I was then informed that the lady in charge of my file was on hols, I had to wait two weeks extra. She finally resumed, they were so kind to give me her desk-ext number, so I called her for three straight days without any response, she finally picked on the fourth day, and promised to treat my file.

I had to call again the next week, and she told me that one of her colleague who was meant to be part of taking a decision on my file was sick, buh she'll try and convince others so they can reach a decision before the end of that week (This Phone conversation was on 22nd Monday last week). I still didn't get the AM all week, so on Friday 26th, I sent an email to the Consulate, and called her, and she informed me that they had responded to the Embassy on Tuesday 23rd Oct.

Yesterday, my AM dropped.

I pray for those waiting; just be of good faith, and always be sincere.

Once again, thank God for everything.

Hello guys,

I trust God you are all good and healthy.

Concerning the student visa application checklist. I have all the documents ready, except;
1. 2 identical passport pictures according to biometric specifications.
2. Primary school leaving certificate.

And I really do not know how to go about these.

Please, your kind advise and suggestion(s) will be highly appreciated.

Thanks.

Suggestions:
1. Got to a good photo studio and tell them what it's for. If possible, browse the German visa passport specifications and show them.
2. Go to ur primary school and request for it.
Hope these work. Good luck!

Your passport photo should be white background; If you don't have the primary school certificate leave it at.

Is the Visa appointment booking still via email
