It's in the nature of human beings to come up with defensive excuses/arguments or rationalisation when they are like doing something wrong or inappropriate. These explainations are nonsensical if you can think them through and there are many of them but I will focus on the excuse given by men who cheat on their girlfriend or wife. Their excuse is "men are wired to be polygamous." As a man, I say this is complete nonsense and ridiculous garbage and no woman should fall for such excuse.

To cheat is a decision. If men are wired to be polygamous, what about those that are faithful to their wife over the years? Don't they like sex with other chicks too. To cheat is a choice because in the face temptation, you can choose to say no, before you were born, men have been declining sexual temptations and will continue to do so. If you cheat on your wife, it means you don't respect or love her. Being in a relationship or being married comes with making sacrifices and if you really love your spouse, those sacrifices wouldn't be a problem or hard to keep because you really love and respect your spouse. You can't be hurting who you claim to love and respect. Any man that cheats is being wicked because you are bringing to nothing all the emotional and physical investment and sacrifices your wife has made for the marriage over the years, you are hurting her and making her live a lie *spits* Besides when a man gives the nonsensical excuse "men are wired to be polygamous", you degrade your spouse to be a fool you can take for a ride because only a fool would believe such explanation and you further disrespect her because you are trying to normalise your disrespectful and hurtful habit of cheating. Shame on you. Any lady that accepts such excuse is not smart or has no value for herself.

If you read the whole chapter, it spells of the forthcoming hard times for the children of god because of their sins. That verse was describing how hard it will be for women and how desperate they would be to get a husband such that they wouldn't care if the husband provided for them or not. Please, read your bible and be clear on it's meaning rather than picking interpretations that suits you. Such unserious mindset will ensure that the shackles of religion(magical thinking) will continously enslave you
