For a start, you need to read the thread so you have understanding of what you are doing.

1. Age: 25points
Qualification: 15points.
Experience: you can get up to 10points depending on your capacity to substantiate all your work from 2012-date.

2. Your wife doesn't have to write the IELTS. However, in recent times some CO have been requesting that dependent write the exam to proof functional English rather than presenting evidence of studying in English which is the norm. It doesn't hurt if she writes the exam to save time. She doesn't need high score for functional English.

3. Refer to 2 above.

Can one claim the 5points from the spouse if he/she is able to just get the competent English level without any assessment?

You will still be required to prove your functional English. There are different ways to prove this, however, some CO still ask for a test of English. The requirement is not too stringent though.

Good evening GURUS & good people in the house,

Please I want to know the COST and REQUIREMENTS for a successful VETASSESS assessment (customer service manager)
Age 32
IELTS LRWS/8,7.5,6.0,7.5
Bsc Agricultural Economics
Banker. Customer Service officer (8yrs)
Looking at skilled regional subclass 489

Also will my wife need to pay for her VATESSES assessment too?

NB. I've checked the VETASSESS website but it really isn't clear so I need to ask those who know before I fall hand.

No. He/she must have positive assessment as well as have his/her occupation on the same skill list as yours.
