Mosque is being built on a monthly bases in homes of Muslims around Nigeria no one is tasking them to convert the mosques into pure water industries but its church matter they like to put for head.

Their politicians both APC and PDP are messing up d economy by their continuous looting and corruption no one is tasking them to build industries. Just take a look at electricity for 16 years with over 5 billion dollar spent we are yet to generate 8 thousand megawatts in 2018 BUT the people are so quick to dump their FRUSTRATION on the church.

Is it not easier for the average nigerian to bring out money for church project (since its for God) even when he is not sure when next he will have money than for them to gather that money and start something good.... You made some salient points here.. but dont also forget that most developed countries that you are talking about went through this phase. If you go to rome,the uk, usa.. they have big cathedrals too. They were very religious at some point and even had these things in their constitution and on currencies .Today most arab nations are still very very religious yet making progress nationally. Our problem is not the cathedrals but our passions,desires,wants, as a people. We want the best cars but we cant build one or think of building one, we want to be very rich , live the lavish life without creating value.

u dont understand me,i never asked the pastors to build industries/schools, what i meant is that as much as these big structures are erected debt free by Gods provision so should the members of the church have the means and wisdom to erect industries/schools debt free and by Gods provision compared to present condition where fervent church members are not rich or spiritually empowered enough to do so!!

Unfortunately those pastors are closer to the government than I am. So they are in a better position to tell them all these things u want me to. But instead they will rather collect their share of the government loot and keep mum. You will never see them calling out anyone on their pulpit. Just see how he described the building. It is all about competition and nothing else.

Listen to Oyedepo talk about how far he has come. You will never hear them talk about how many people they have genuinely converted. Instead they measure the progress of their churches using earthly possessions such as edifices and number of church members rather than genuine converts.
