Earliar on, Sonia had sent him a note to meet her where he was standing,at an abandoned house..., he wonder why she will ask him to wait for there...

He recall how he has thought of her often from that day on...

He exhales and wave the thought away, she was a woman he cannot get.. She was wounded and he felt great pity for her but his act of pity is creating something else in him.. Something intense, something that keeps pushing his buttons......

He lean his body on the car as he look at both side of the road, just then he saw someone....a girl wearing a jacket hood on her face....
He recognized her when she got closer and it sent those feelings back into him...

He swallowed trying to wave the thoughts away but they were still there, not ready to leave, screaming at him to take her out.. Take her to dinner on a date....
He bit his lower lip, almost hard that he wince...

She removed the jacket hood from her head when she got closer to him...

A smile force itself on it's face, he look at her face, she was more beautiful now, those ugly scars on her forehead and face has been covered by makeup....

"I thought you weren't going to come... "Sonia said

"It's my duty as a police..., people call and we answer.... "

She scoffs at his remark.... "How are you...?

"Never been better.... "He said with clenched teeth, then he fold his hands across his chest..... "I didn't know you were still here, i thought you left for the city...?

She grunts..."Actually i did..., But then we came back,The queen's husband brother said he has somethings to take from the palace so i tagged along... "

She squeaked, her suffering etched on her face.... "I wanted to see you...."She said softly...

A raw feeling rushed down him, for a second, he just stood staring at her.., he sprang back to reality when she turn her face away....."Am so glad to see you again, how have you been coping with everything.... "

She scrached her elbow... "Fine, I've been doing fine... "She said nervously....

He wanted to reach for her hands and hold her, tell her everything is going to be okay, tell her the chief who destroyed her life will soon be brought to justice....... "You said you wanted to see me, here i am...."He chulkled...

She scoffs.... "Yes it was so nice seeing you again, but i need to go now, can i get your card or something, i will like to reach you when the going gets tough..... "

"When the going gets tough..... "He resounded, greatly astounded by her words....

"Yeah... Just a saying people say... "

He smile,open the car door and brought out his office card... Without hesitation, he handed it to her....

"Well thanks for this,atleast you're still my friend right.... "

"Yes... "He shrugged... "Of course anytime... "

"Call you anytime...?

"Yeah, am a police am always on something...... "

She chuckled.... "Alright inspector, i sincerely think it's time for me to go.... "

"Why don't i drop you off...

"No, don't worry.."She said abruptly....

"Okay.... "He whimpered..

He stood as he watch her walk away.. He smile to himself..as he dwell upon their conversation...

Rose quickly open the fridge and took out a cold water, she sat back on the dinning chair and gulp down the water.....
She exhales as she began to recall Jacob's conversation with his father, a conversation she had eavesdropped on.....

She was curious, her body keeps pinching her to find out what happened five years ago.. What really happened to the late king, how is Jacob and his father all connected to it....
She sigh when a knock came on the door, she wonder if Jacob was back so soon so they could continue abusing theirselves...

The knock came again, irritated she stood up from the chair and walk towards the door....
Slowly, she bend down the door knob.. She poke her eyes when she saw who was standing at the door, the same bitch she had seem with Jacob the day she arrived....

"Back so soon.... ?She ask walking away from the door daring her to come in...

Frown lines encroached on Bianca forehead, she wasn't expecting to see her here.....
She was inclined to walk out but on second thought it will just be a waste if time.....
With a change of heart she walked into the house....

Rose ate a spoonful of her food then she trot towards her......
"So bitch, how long have my husband been going out with you...?

Bianca furrowed her brows.... "Who are you...?

Rose rolled her eyes.... "Didn't he tell you.....?

Bianca curl her lips but didn't reply....

Without further word, Bianca walk out of the house and slammed the door hard....

He stare at the caller, it was chief Ayu, he wonder why he was calling....
He hesitated a bit, then he answered the call...

"Are my shares ready......?Chief Ayu's voice came up

Carlos grunts... "Calm down Ayu, i promise i will get your shares back but not with the time you gave me.. "

"3hours to go Carlos, if i don't hear from you within the next 3hours,am calling the police..... "

Sonia scoffs.... "You have no idea... "

Giselle quickly walked in and drop the food on the bed....

"Thank you..."Sonia said again...

"Come-on, you don't have to keep repeating it as if you are shooting a thousand bullet out of a gun... "

"A gun...., have you seen a gun before....? Sonia ask sitting on the bed..

"See....! i have touched a gun, i have fired a bullet..."

"Really...where..?

"In the states.., Ferico and i did shooting practices... "

"Yes...., it's a license gun.."

"And the gun is here, in this house.... ?Sonia ask anxiously

Giselle nib her lips wondering why she was asking... "Yes.., it's in this house but Ferico nevers uses it, he said it calls for emergency situation so the gun is just stuffed up in a load in our room..... "

Sonia look at her, then she took one spoonful of food.. There is a gun in the house, the perfect weapon for the perfect assignment in the non perfect place, she has to get that gun........

The DPO quickly sprang back to life from his thoughts as his phone began to ring....
Without hesitation he pick up the call...

"DPO..... "Chief Ayu voice came up...

The DPO rolled his eyes, then he stood up from the chair........."Who's this?

"Chief...."The DPO muttered shocked.. "I wasn't expecting your call.... "

"Listen to me, if i call you again in the next 50minuts,know am ready to accept your offer.... "Chief Ayu said and the call ended......

He exhales when he saw nothing amusing to do, he trot his way to the parlour, just then a knock came on the door..
With curiosity of who was knocking, he walk towards the door..... And opened it.....
Shock swept through him when he saw who was standing there.......

"Rita.... "He muttered

"I can't do this anymore.... "Rita said and quickly kissed him.....

Without hesitation, the DPO pick up his phone as it began to ring.... "Chief... "He said shapily

"We need to meet, am ready to talk.... "

"My boys are coming to pick you up...... "

"No, not your boys, i will come alone but to my own place... Meet me at the abandoned warehouse in the next fifteen minutes... "

"Yes chief.... "The DPO said and the call ended...

He quickly walk out of his office..... "Listen everybody, i need all policemen armed right now, one of the chief is ready to talk, we are meeting him at the abandoned warehouse, the rest of the cheifs will try to stop him, i need all perimeters of that warehouse guarded, no one moves in without authorization, arrest any strange person on sight, now everyone move it......

Chief Buzo snort as his phone began to ring...
without hesitation he pick up the call...

"It wasn't a threat.... "Carlos voice sounded from the other end

" Inspector Philip just called me, Ayu is meeting with the DPO to rat us all out...., and we can't allow that.... "

"What is wrong with him, what do we do now, how do we stop him...?

"We have to do what we have to do..., shut him up forever..... "

Chief Buzo Groan as the call ended...... "Ayu... what are you doing..... ?

Steady, driving slowly, the driver turn the car steering to the next street.......
Just then a car from behind drove past and stopped in its front...
Two masked men with guns quickly jump out of the car and headed towards the vehicle that kicked on the brakes the moment the car entered it's front....

Ted, one of the masked men quickly opened the car door and drag the driver out, he look at the back, there was no one else than the driver....

"Where the hell is the chief.......? Bobby the other masked man shouted pointing the gun at the driver....

"I don't know, he told me to just keep driving until i get to the abandoned warehouse.... "The driver said with trembling mouth....

"Sh*t...."Ted groan..

He quickly brought out his phone and dialed Carlos number who picked up after the second ring....

"Is it done...? carlos ask

"The chief is not in the car.... "Ted said

"Where is he then, isn't that the only road to the warehouse ....?

"Yes chief....., i don't think he's meeting the police at the warehouse , this was just a plan to lead us astray......... He must have known we were coming for him........... "







COULD THIS BE THE END FOR THE CHIEFS.....?
