Congratulations my people. The team had just 3 week training.The team has a very good defence, and potentially deadly attack. Happy for Ihezuo and Uchendu coming through at the end.
Now lets organise grade A friendlies. I wish we play Thailand, Sweden, Korea, and Italy. Specifically chosen because they play different games.

Our defence is surprisingly good, if dennerby can sort out the midfield and attack, we can perform well at world cup, players like Rita chikwelu really upped their game yesterday.

And many others actually. Sarah Nnodim was here though she was never used. Ugo Njoku wasn't. Igbinovia, Joy Borokiri etc

There are other alternatives.

There is Chioma Ubagagu and Toni Payne (Antionette Oyedupe Payne). Both are strikers who have at one time played for USWNT under 20. Chioma scored against Nigeria in 2012 under 20.

I think Chioma can hold down a starting shirt in the current strikers formation of Super Falcons before Dike and most of our strikers. She plays for Orlando Pride

Yes they did well but need to improve, before yesterday our midfield hardly had a good game, we didn't control most games we played, maybe they need more friendlies and preparations

They are all quality players...All they need is Adequate preparations and regular training so that they can blend together, knowing their weaknesses and how to correct them

The duo of Ayinde, Chikwelu really believe in Okobi's abilities with the ball ahead of them as the attacking midfielder.. Dennerby shouldn't make the mistake of substituting Okobi for Ajibade again... when he did it against Cameroon the midfield collapsed totally because Ajibade wasn't able to replicate what Okobi was doing... even though Okobi was performing badly against the Physical Cameroonian she still find her way of getting past her marker with her skills and vision. she just needs to add strength to her game.

ORANGE BEACH, Ala. – For the first time in program history, the Southeastern University women's soccer team is heading to the NAIA Women's Soccer National Championship Semifinals. The sixth-seeded Fire are now one of four remaining teams in the field after taking down the Midland University Warriors 3-1 in their quarterfinal match. The win set a new single-season program record for wins at 20.
A familiar name netted all three Southeastern goals, as junior forward Uchenna Kanu posted her 11th hat trick of the season to push her NAIA-record setting season goals total to 57. Kanu now has seven goals in three NAIA postseason matches.
It was a grinding first 45 minutes of play for the Fire, as both teams were held scoreless throughout the first half.
Southeastern was able to create more chances in the first half, outshooting Midland 13-6, including 7-2 on goal. However, the Warriors' back line did not bend.
With 45 minutes until the end of one team's season, the Fire came out of the locker room dialed in.
"I told the girls at the half, you have 45 minutes for either our season to end or to persevere. And credit to them, they responded amazingly and played for each other and ultimately, the glory of God," shared head coach Randy Belli .
Within the first minute of the second half, the Fire took a 2-0 lead thanks to the foot of Kanu.
The Abia Nigeria native made a pair of sliding finishes off passes from Yulie Lopez and Aisha Solorzano30 and 56 seconds in.
A through ball from senior defender Sierra Clayton slotted in by Kanu in the 77th minute gave the Fire a 3-0 lead.
The Warriors got on the board in the 82nd minute, snapping a scoreless streak of 371 minutes SEU held against opponents.

Chikwelu should have been taken off from jump. Her only good game was Equatorial Guinea. I still suspect her and that coach

Uchenna Kanu (20yrs) is currently playing for Southeastern University in USA.... She has previously represented Nigeria in the 2014 FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup and in the 2014 FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup, where she netted three goals in tournament play.
She uses both feet effectively but her Left Foot is the Strongest. She deserves a call up

Chioma said she is willing to play for any of Nigeria, England or USA that invites her as she is eligible to play for any of them. I do not think England has given her a regular shirt. They only invited her for a friendly game against Ireland

Our ever dependable wing back has to be brought back, and I believe the former captain also needs to be brought back.
Attackers like Courtney Dike should be brought back to compete for places. Uchechi Sunday also needs to go to France.

Preparation is key and from what I saw, the girls need at least 2 months INTENSIVE camping to reach a fitness level needed for world cup. Even after that, they then need another 3 weeks or so for technical and tactical trainings. For now, we need to start playing friendly matches.

Not sure whether Courtney Dike is playing professional football. Remember she was invited for the AWCON but didn’t show up. So she may have ditched football following her graduation from college.

Do you mean Esther Sunday or Uchechi Sunday. Esther Sunday is another good attacking midfielder. Her problem is, she holds the ball a little too much

I just went through records of under 16 and under 20 competitions. I am wondering, why did the coach favour Ajibade over Chinwendu Ihezuo and Chinaza Uchendu? They are roughly the same age bracket, so the excuse of introducing young stars do not really hold. Chinwendu clearly was the star in 2014 under 16 and 2016 under 20 where the two featured. In these same tournaments, Chinaza Uchendu also scored more goals than Rashidat. Further, at the Wafu Championship, Chinaza tied with Rashidat but her goals were more strategic. Rashidat scored a hat-trick.,

It all comes down to not knowing the team and the terrain.
The first team is too comfortable. Oparanozie, Oshoala and Ordega should be threatened. Let's give opportunity to players who can challenge them. Chinasa Uchendu for example, is well ahead of Anam Imo.

I think oshoala missed Ugo Njoku the most. That was her Dani Alvez
