KINGS EPISODE 189 "WHAT HAPPENED.....? EDNA ASK THE MOMENT PIOUS ENTERED THE HOUSE.... Infuriated, Pious drop the briefcase he was carrying on the chair...... "Where is Sonia....? Giselle ask curiously "She's been arrested..... "Pious said abruptly..... "Who gave that damn woman a gun.....? Giselle grunts, she look away then turn back to face Pious again.., she quivered when she saw the anger in his eyes..... She jut her chin imagining how his reaction will be when he tells him the truth...... "Can someone please answer me.....? Pious said, voice clipped, exasperation slowly taking over him.... "She took your gun...... "Giselle resounded.... Shock engulf Pious.... "My gun, she went into my room..... ? Giselle flicked...... "How did she know i had a gun.....? Giselle puff.... "I told her... "She said with folded hands.... Pious curl his lips.... "Do you even realize what you've done, that gun can be traced back to me...... "It wasn't her fault.... "Edna cut in.... "Whose fault was it then.....? Pious said bruquely.... "I didn't know she was going to take it.... "Giselle said crisply.... Pious swallowed trying hard to shut down the anger that was crawling into him.... "She was just a stranger.. And you told her i had a gun.... "Sonia wasn't a stranger.... "Edna interjects "She was a stranger to me..... "Pious hollered...... "You told a stranger i had a gun, she took it and shot Carlos.... "She shot Carlos....? Edna ask shocked... "Yes mum, she shot him... "Is Carlos dead....? "He isn't,the bullet hit his hand but do you know what the police will be thinking when they realised the gun was registered in my name...? He watch both of them, when they gave no reply, he decided to clear the cloud but just then his phone began to ring... He took out his phone, he sigh when he realised it was one of his men that he had sent to make sure Sonia was taken to the station...... Without hesitation, he answered the call....... With furrowed brows, he ended the call after the conversation....... "What is it.., what did he say.......? Edna ask curiously "Sonia escaped...... " ********************* Head spinning, legs trembling, hand bleeding, the bullet pricking her spines, Sonia staggered through the grasses..... Exhausted, she stopped and rest her body on a tree.., she look around, then glanced at the bullet wound... She look at the handcuffs on her hand, just then she heard the sound of moving vehicles.... She took a deep drag and began to staggered towards the road... She fell down when she mis-step.....,she wince in pains as she struggled to stand up again,she grimaced and clattered back on the ground, skin pale and clammy....Her eyes have frozen over like the surface of a winter puddle, robbing them of their usual warmth..... Slowly she tried to get up but quickly realized how futile it was when she had to bit her lip to keep her from crying out. Sharp pain lanced through her head and colorful spots flashed in front of her eyes, it felt like her whole body had been beaten and every movement caused some muscle or bone to ache. Regardless, she needed to get out of the bush...out of sight from the police and Carlos thugs.. Wincing In pain she try to stand up again.., she groan and finally rose to her feet....., the bullet wound spiked a great pain through her.... Tears of rage, blood.., mud tangling her hair,her whole body drenched with it...., she struggled to trot towards the road....... She breathe heavily,she quickly ran into the road when she saw a vehicle approaching..... The driver quickly hit on the brakes almost hitting her.... Infuriated, the driver came down from the car...... "Are you crazy...... "He raved.. "Please i need your help.... "Sonia said crisply totally unsettled The driver scan his eyes at her, his eyes drool on the handcuffs, the blood sheening down from her hand, her muddy self and he quickly registered what was going on...... She is a criminal..... "Did you escape from the police.....? He ask quickly "You won't understand, just help me please, i beg you..... " "I can't do that, i don't want to be your accomplice..... " "No, no no, you won't be my accomplice, i just..... "Am really sorry...., please get out of my way...... " "Please, i need your help...... "Sonia said after him as he enters the car....... The driver quickly gear up the car engine and drove off... "Please..... "Sonia shouted...... ********************* Eyes twitching,Gerald entered the throne room, he look around, he wonder why no one was there, he slowly trot towards the throne..., he look at it, touch it, he has seem his Father sit on it many times and his mother had told him he will be the next to sit on it.... Just then he decided to try it, slowly, he climbed unto the chair..., smile curve his lips as he sat down comfortably on the throne.... Slowly reclining his back on the chair...., as if that wasn't enough, he raised his left foot on the chair....... "What are you doing........? Liza ask from the door.... Gerald didn't bother replying, he change his sitting position and crossed his legs.... "You're not supposed to be sitting there, that's father's throne..... "Liza said walking close to him..... "You better watch your mouth princess....., My mother said only i have the right to sit on this chair..... " Liza poked her eyes at him.... "Mummy..... "She shouted... ********************* Sonia swallowed when another car passed her,her head throb, her wound twinge, she wince at the pains, she was about to sit on the floor when she saw a guy on a motorcycle passing, without hesitation, she ran into the road again... The guy stopped, removed his helmet and stare at her.. "Please help me.... " The guy came down from the motorcycle, he stare around making sure the police wasn't anywhere around.... "I know you're scared.... "Sonia said shapily when she saw the fear in his eyes...... "Please i just need your phone to make a phone call..... " "Am sorry, but i cannot help you, you look like.... "A criminal i know... "Sonia cut in....... "But i assure you am not a criminal, i just escaped death....please help me, it's just a phone call....please i beg you.... " The guy hesitated a bit, he look around again to make sure no one was watching, then he brought his phone out.... With the handcuffs on her hand, Sonia managed to deep her fingers in her pocket... She grope her fingers on the pocket, when she felt she was touching the card, she pinned it and brought it out.... She quickly collected the phone and dialed Kess number..... ********************* Kess quickly reclined his head on the the hospital pillow after the bullet has been removed....,he snort, his mind wandering over to what happened earlier...., just then his phone began to ring, he wince and gaze around, he saw the phone on top the hospital storage..., he quickly picked it up, he glance at the caller.... He hesitated a bit before he answered..... "Kess...... "Sonia trembling voice came up.... Kess quickly recognized the voice...... "Sonia... "He muttered crisply, a raw feeling of gladness sweeping through him.... "I need your help.... "Sonia said Kess heard footsteps, he glance at where the footsteps were coming from, he huff when he realise it was a nurse walking by.... "Where are you.....? He drop the call when Sonia described where she was, without further ado, he stood up from the bed, check the hospital locker for his things, he saw his gun, his shirt and his car keys..he quickly picked them,wore the shirt and made his way out of the room..... "Sir you need rest.... "A nurse said after him.... "Am fine... "He said back rushing out of the hospital ****************** Sonia quickly deleted the number and gave the phone back to the boy.... "Thank you... "She said gently.... The boy nodded, his eyes roaming over her injured hand, her muddy body and the handcuffs...... "You should get your wound treated...... "The boy said putting back on his helmet and climbing on the motorcycle...... "I will...... "Sonia said with hazy eyes... The boy nodded,power up the bike and sped off... Sonia took a deep drag, she walk back into the bush and hid herself for fear of been seen.... Adrenaline sinking in..., her sight began to wary, her whole body weakening....., she shook her head and wipe her eyes again..... ********************** "What is the meaning of this....... "Zara yelled the moment she trot her feet on the throne room, Gerald who was crying standing beside her...., Bianca standing by the door...... "How dare you raise your hand on my son again.... "She latched out with angry eyes... Claude curl her lips and stood up from the queen chair..... "Didn't your son tell you what he did........ " "He sat on the throne.... "Liza interjects,voice hung in a high pitch.... "Is that the reason you have to hit him....., What exactly is your problem with me andy son.... "Zara blared out... "You have no idea the enormity of what your son did, the throne is sacred, how dare your son sits on it..... "My son have every right to sit on the throne..... "Zara retorted......... "It's his birthright, you're just jealous...... because you don't have a son" "Don't talk to my mother like that.... "Liza yelled... "Will you shut your cursed mouth up..... "Zara boom out, before she could turn her face to face Claude again, Claude slapped her..... Bianca poked her eyes in shock... Zara wince as the hotnes of the slap cling to her face.......resounding over and over "How dare you.....? Claude raved..... With angry eyes, Zara stare back to her...."You slapped me..... ? Infuriated, Claude slapped her again..... Zara couldn't control her anger, she raised her hand to slap her back but a guard hold her hand....... "Let me remind you, you're in Akaptu and am queen here, and as for your son, be rest assured he will never be king, i will make sure of that, and the next time your son pull this stunt again, i won't hesitate before i throw you out into the street back to the hell you came from....., take this disgusting thing out of my sight.... " With those words, the guard began to drag Zara out who struggled with him.... She yanked free, glared at Claude, then she hold her son and walk away angrily followed by Bianca...... ********************* Kess look around when he got to the description, he parked the car in a corner and came out.... He look around again, there was no sight of her.., fear gripped him, the thought of Carlos men abducting her creeo into his head.... He quivered in his spines when he heard sounds...., he trot forward slowly making his way into the bush.... Just then he saw someone's legs, he quickly registered it was her, without hesitation he rushed to her side...... "Sonia.... "He whimpered when he got to her... "Kess...... "Sonia muttered gently with hazy eyes....... Kess look at her arm.., she was shot...., and she was dying...... "Sonia,Sonia, stay with me........ "He said.... Sonia couldn't raise a finger, slowly her consciousness began to flow out, the world began to shut down in her eyes slowly emptying everything into darkness..... "Sonia...,sonia.... "Kess called out with throbbing heart....., it was the bullet, he needs to remove it...... "Stay with me Sonia, please stay with me.... " Little by little Sonia sense of feeling, sense of everything began to fade away,and finally it pushed her into an oblivon of unconsciousness........ Kess quickly lifted her up in his hand and carried her to the car..... ********************** Zara slammed the door hard as she went into her room....., her eyes drenched with tears of rage....
