Thanks so much! You will live long.

Na that grant in 2 months without contact, na im I want ooo

zanyzara:

When your CO hit you gbam with grant under 2 months with no verification and contact, you won't say the documents are many cheesy

You only provide the ones you have.

In the course of your employment you must have been offered a raise or promoted ke, but if you don't have no wahala.

You can use only the utility bill for the address or if not too much stress for you, banks do change address.

You may take the PVC out if you want but your change of name evidence would suffice if you want to include it.

Scan the card and print the remittances from inception yourself. Visit the tax website and chat with them. They will guide you. You can also mail them with your request. Merge the card and the printout as a single file.

Zany.

Pls will 65 suffice for 489 with the current pool?
My current situation is as follow

Age - 30marks
Education - 15marks Assesed with Vettases and got +ve evaluation with 1year three months approved
Language -?? (looking at 10)

489 10 marks

Total 65marks

Please advice.

As Zanyzara advised, you can only lodge EOI and apply to QLD for 489 visa asap. You cannot apply to NSW for 190 cos your score is less than 65 point. Also try to get 20 points in the English test so you can be selected for NSW 190 nomination.

February 24, 2017. The below (in quote) was my response to one of your comments. You have been on this same question for close to two years which have been answered over and over. I honestly do not understand what you really want or want people to do.

If you have followed the numerous advice given to you since late 2016/2017, you will still not be asking this same question in November 2018.

You have not shown you actually want to take to any advice. I see no reason why your questions should be answered anymore.

Good evening oga belong.Am sorry if my question might have infuriated you. I did ask that question sometime last year, but along the way ,my plan did not work out------it does not really mean am unserious.

Why i had to ask the question was that around April this year ,i got an additional btech qualifications, though a one year top up for my HND. Now ,am confused cos if i add it to my assessment document,,my past 12 yrs working experience might be cut off.because i was told your experience counts from your most recent qualification.
And also if EA would agree to assess my HND +OND. only.

Pls ooo dont be offended
Re: DIY Guide To Australian Permanent Resident Visa - Part 2 by bellong: 3:44am On Dec 06, 2018
@Keleto,

EA will assess your HND and OND. It will be equivalent to diploma which is 10 points.

There is no reason to lose 15points because of 5 points.

Please bellong. I had National Diploma in 2005
I also got my Higher National Diploma in 2010
And finally had my PGD in 2017.

All these will give you 10 points. The PGD is dependent on the body assessing you. I am not sure of ACS' position with it.

All in the same Field.Electrical Electronic Engineering.
I have submitted my Assessment with ACS.

For which occupation?

I have been working since 2007.
Which of my qualifications do you think they will use.
As my job is related since 2007.

All your qualification will be put into consideration. If the occupation you nominated is a skill 1 occupation, you will lose some years of experience in lieu of qualification. Meanwhile, if you have any related experience prior to 2007, you can use it for RPL. There are people here that can guide you with it.

Is it possible i get 15 points for education
And 15 points for Experience.

I don't think so except your PGD is assessed to be equivalent to AQF bachelor degree. Even with that, ACS is known for cutting 2-3yrs off people's experience.

What is the occupation?

Hello,
From my xp with EA, I'll advise you get tax certificate for all those employment period. EA takes only tax & pension evidences serious. Don't bother about payslips and bank statements with them.

Good morning house. Please I have a question.
I did my EA assessment early this year. I had just clocked over 2 years of post-graduation experience, so I did not assess my experience. In fact, my experience will be 3 years exactly on December 1st and I plan to update my EOI as accordingly.
The issue is, the first 2 jobs that I did, immediately after school and as an engineering Intern where I currently work, I was paid in cash. I only have my employment verification and letter of employment for them. No bank payslips and no tax certificate. Can I go and get tax certificate for the said period?
And will these be enough as evidences?

Hello everyone!

I really appreciate the great deal on info on this thread. Thanks to all that are making it happen.

I have been invited to apply for 190 visa following NSW nomination so I need a document checklist for 190 application because I don’t want to miss out on any documentation required. If anyone can point me to such, I would really appreciate that.

Also for the Health check / examination, would it be done at IOM, Ikeja or is there another place? And how much would it cost for a family of 4 (i.e. couple with 2 kids)?

Every little info helps. Looking forward to your responses, please. Thanks!

Hello,
From my xp with EA, I'll advise you get tax certificate for all those employment period. EA takes only tax & pension evidences serious. Don't bother about payslips and bank statements with them.

First of all, Relevant Skilled Employment is an additional assessment service that you need to apply and pay for. If you have not applied for this additional service, your employment will not be reflected on the outcome letter.

If you have applied for this service, please note only successful skilled employment results will be recorded in the final outcome letter. This means your employment was not included in the outcome because one or multiple reasons below:

You did not provide ALL documents required.

Your work experience was not closely related or relevant to nominated occupation code.

You were not paid at the market or salaried rate for engineering professionals during the employment period.

Experience gained as a Ph.D. student, or work experience as a Research Assistant/Fellow cannot be recognised as Relevant Skilled Employment.

Please refer to MSA Booklet page 30 & 31 for the mandatory Primary and Secondary documents required for the Relevant Skilled Employment assessment.

Got this from EA website.
Do you think point No 3 (market or salaried rate for professionals) will not work against me as I was paid only 20k during the period.

And please what do they mean by that?

Thanks once again.

EA replied my mail..Apologies i know is a long read.

'You will also find down in the middle of the email three pathways that i typed up in bold for you. These are the three possible pathways to apply for a migration skills assessment with us please read through them to understand a little bit more about your different options with us.

If you are looking at Migrating to Australia, you will firstly need to determine which visa would be appropriate for you.

Please note that Engineers Australia (EA) is an organisation independent from The Department of Home Affairs. It is not EA’s place to give you any advice on immigration processes, visa eligibility, or immigration requirements. The attribution of points remains at the discretion of the Home Affairs officers. Please refer to the Home Affairs website for all information about immigration requirements https://www.homeaffairs.gov.au/.

If the visa you wish to apply for has a requirement for a Skills Assessment, then:

you will need to choose your occupation nomination. Please refer to the ANZSCO dictionary for the definition of the occupation nomination. The ANZSCO dictionary is downloadable from www.abs.gov.au.
please also refer to https://www.homeaffairs.gov.au/Trav/Work/Work/Skills-assessment-and-assessing-authorities/skilled-occupations-lists for information on the assessment authorities for occupations.

As the assessing body, Engineers Australia is unable to offer guidance on which occupation should be nominated.

The most important thing to remember when choosing a category is that you are able to demonstrate your knowledge in that area of Engineering, therefore it is important this is chosen by you.

Please click here, type your desired discipline into the search bar, this will bring up the definition of the occupation as well as the criteria of what we look for. You can use this as a guide when deciding which category to nominate.

If Engineers Australia is the designated assessing authority, then you may apply for the migration skills assessment.

There are three types of pathway for a Migration Skill Assessment:

Australian Accredited Qualifications Pathway (Section B in MSA Booklet)

You have completed your undergraduate degree in Australia and it is a fully accredited degree (please see below link)

http://www.engineersaustralia.org.au/sites/default/files/shado/Education/Program%20Accreditation/engineers_australia_accredited_programs.pdf

International Accredited Accord Pathway (Section B in MSA Booklet)

You have completed your undergraduate degree in a country that is a full signatory of the Accords and the degree is accredited by the representative body of the signatory country. http://www.ieagreements.org

Non-Accredited/Competency Demonstration Report Pathway (Section C in MSA Booklet)

You have completed an Australian or International undergraduate degree that is not accredited or has not been completed in a country that is a full signatory of the International Accords. Or, you would like an outcome slightly different to that of your Accredited degree.

Under the Accredited qualifications pathway, the outcome is given in accordance to the discipline of your degree. If the discipline does not match the content of your degree (for example, Electrical Engineering degrees focusing on Electronics Engineering), then a close analysis of the transcript will determine the appropriate occupation.

If you would rather be assessed in a different discipline, then you can apply via the Competency Demonstration Report pathway. Note however that there is no guarantee that you would be successful in getting the outcome you desire as the qualification has to contain the necessary underpinning knowledge in the discipline you are seeking assessment for.

Please refer to the MSA booklet for details on all the pathways.

Please also take a look at Information for Applicants which contains information on the process, fees and frequently asked questions:

This your case is dicey.

VETASSESS is supposed to assess you as a food technologist but with your unrelated experience that would be a negative outcome.

Send a mail to Engineers Australia to ask whether they can assess you as "Engineering Technologist"

Let's have that feedback first.

you do sir, the cheap ticket is a scam. one will have to transit from one airport to another via road. the journey takes a whooping 4hours after which you wont be lodged during the long stay for the connecting flight. people use the opportunity to sight see and shop to pass time since they have a transit visa. you will also observe that there are two turkish airways/airline ticket one is pricer than the other. the pricey one does not require a transit visa if you dont intend to leave the airport and the connecting time is shorter.

Do you think 70 points will be enough for this occupation?
Or i should go for state nomination which will make it 75 points.
If my assessment come out possitive and MET is less 2011. Then i will be happy.

I am not following the ITA tracker, so I can't say if 70points will be enough. However, the ICT occupations have been known to require about 75 points to have a good shot.

Education is definitely one of the most sought after occupations due to the dearth of teachers in some regions especially in the country areas. From what those who have assessed with AITSL said, most important criteria for having a positive assessment are getting minimum of 7 in each band of IELTS and your teaching practice year.

Your teaching skill is enough. Read up to identify your assessing authority and read more about the requirements.

If your qualification is in the ICT, you can kickstart the PR process. I believe you should be able to nominate a related occupation that is being sponsored on the list.

You guys are moving to Sydney which is good for you. I cannot promise you will get an IT job because of your visa but I can assure that you will get something to do. And you may be lucky to get an IT job with a company that cares less if you have PR..

The satisfaction or fulfillment from the move depends largely on your reason for relocation. If you are after quality and value for life, you will never regret taking the step. If it is about money, you will have enough not to be hungry or depend on anybody. In all, you will be happy you made the decision.

It may appear very difficult in the beginning but as you get settled and accustomed to the city, you will find your feet. There are thousands of Nigerians in Sydney who may assist you to navigate the city.

Your visa gives you unlimited hours to work, so you shouldn't have issues while your wife studies.
