The tears burst forth like water from a dam, spilling down Claude's face. She feel the muscles of her chin tremble like a small child and she look toward the window, as if the light could soothe her. There was static in her head once more, the side effect of her husband's death, the uncertainty of her future. She heard her own sounds,her sobs groaning like a distressed child, raw from the inside. It took something out of her,something she didn't know she had left to give......

She puff and more tears drip down when Liza hug her tightly...

Their eyes drip with tears. Their walls, the walls that hold them up, made them strong just... collapse. Moment by moment, they fall. Salty drops fall from their chin, drenching their shirt....

Liza press her head against her chest, her hands wrapped tightly around Claude... baby blue, so innocent..., she was trembling. She can't-can't stop crying,her tears pouring out with hard breathe, loud sobs. Even as she press her head against Claude,she shook,she quivered, she trembles. The enormity of her pains was raw, raw tears, raw emotions. Heavy drops of tears wetting the makeup from her pretty little face....

Their eyes swell and turn red. They were unable to speak, unable to breath, nothing. The world around becomes a blur of color that melts to gray. The weight in their chest and locks in their throats. The pain in the back of their mind the comes forward by the slightest reminder. A small token of sorrow and misery. Small crystal beads that trail down the cheeks to the neck, and the chest. Only to melt into the cloth they wore or to fall off their pouting lip.....

When he cried there was a rawness to it, like the pain was still an open wound. He would clasp onto something for support, anything, a table or the back of a chair, and then his whole body would shake. The sobs were stifled at first as he attempted to hide his grief, then overcome by the wave of his emotions he would break down entirely, all his defences washed away in those salty tears. Carlos pace around, breathe heavy, he refused to look away, even as his lips trembled and his shoulders heaved with emotion, unwilling to back down.

His dark lashes brimmed heavy with tears; his hands clenched into shaking fists, in a desperate battle against the grief.

A lone tear traced down his cheek, and just like that, the floodgates opened.

He wept, tears streaming from his deep dark eyes, loud, heaving sobs tearing from his throat, and still he did not look away.

Not until the sobs drove him to his knees did his determined gaze fall....

"Carlos..... "Chief Buzo muttered while the rest of the chiefs just groan, their eyes draining wet with ferocious tears...

Carlos crying was both ferocious and a silent groan. He blinked briny tears from bloodshot eyes, his thick lashes stuck together in clumps as if he'd been swimming. The tears made wet tracks down his face and dripped from his stubbled, wobbling chin. Clear watery snot streaked from his flaring nostrils down his light mottled skin to his open quivering lips. His hands open and closed, rhythmically clenching as if there could be some violent solution to his pain if only he could find it......

The thought of his dead son drove him into another reign of thoughts, of anger.. Deep dark rage waving in his eyes, his whole body craving for it...

"Who could have done such a wicked thing....? Chief Azuka ask eyes drained with anger....

Chief Buzo trot towards Carlos and stood him up from his knees, sitting him up in the chair....

Tears tinge with great anger spark in Carlos eyes., the moment of the death reoccurring in his head.. It didn't go away and he didn't wave it off..., it triggered more rage into him, a deadly passion to kill those who have made him cry... The will, the fierce hunger for destruction......

Gerald sobbed into Zara's chest unceasingly, hands clutching at her shirt. She held him in silence, rocking him slowly as his tears soaked her chest. A tiny lapse let him pull away, blinking lashes heavy with tears, before he collapsed into her again, his howls of misery worsening. The pain must have come in waves, minutes of sobbing broken apart by short pauses for recovering breaths, before hurling him back into the outstretched arms of grief,the grief she had cursed..

Zara bit her tongue, trying to hold the tears that threatened to leave her eyes. And that's when she couldn't hold them back. First, one small crystal bead escapes from her right eye.she can feel the warmth, sliding down her cheek, and rolling off her chin. Then another. And another. Until her eyes flood with them, coming like a rainfall. Sniffing every ten seconds, they fall, and fall, and she let them....

As she cried, her bottom lip quivered, the same as a baby pushed past endurance. Her eyes became glacier blue under the sheen of water, constant, yet allowing the tears to flow without pause. In that moment, in seeing her own reflection she understood the depth of pain that had been sitting below her skin,the pain she'd caused for herself... For her own fruitless reasons...

Gerald lay on his bed, eyes closed. His chest heaved with a quiet sob, and tears welled up behind his eyelids, slipping down his cheeks without resistance. Another sob wracked him, followed by a thin wail. He curled on his side and wept, shoulders heaving...

A single tear slid down from Bianca's warm, butterscotch eyes, followed by another one, and another one, until soon, a steady stream of salty tears flowed it's way down her pale cheek, releasing the sadness and sorrow that has been held inside of her for all this time but still she did not make a sound......

She wipe off the tear and change her sitting position in the bed...... "This is good news.... "She said with pants breathe...

Zara threw her a hard look as the words resounded in her ears.... "Good news..."She resounded with tears escaping into her mouth.........."He was the father of my son.. "

"The father of your son whi abandoned you five years ago, and rejected you after the five years....,his death is not worth weeping over... "

Zara sniff heavily, she quickly turn away her face, the enormity of her actions clicking on her conscience.....

"What you should be doing is preparing Gerald to be king.... "

"Gerald is only five... "She said crisply....., heavy sobs coating her throat...

"Does it matter, he's the next in line to the throne, he will be king and you'll rule in his place..... "

Zara turn away, she snort and brushed her hair with hee two hands...., then she glance at Gerald who was quiet, tears in his eyes, she slowly wipe the tears off his eyes...... "My boy, you'll be king soon... "She said with a forced smile on her face..

Amidst the tears...., Gerald nodded shabbily...

Dry racking sobs, tear-stained, blotched, mottled skin, puffy eyed, bleary eyed, nose running, blowing nose, distraught, great heaving sobs, intense, crying in abject misery, silent tears rolling down their cheeks, devastated, pink eyes, red in the face, seemingly endless flow of tears cloud the palace walls and everything in it...

Everyone fused their attention on the maids who has cooked the food, they knelt down as Claude pace around, eyes stills drenched with tears....

"I repeat again...., who poisoned the food...? Claude ask with fierce energy, Liza clinging to her.....

Confused, eyes wet, the maids including Rachael stare at each other.....

"We have no idea your majesty....... "A maid said bowing down....

Claude took a deep drag, she raised her eyes towards the footsteps that were approaching them.., her eyes met with Zara, just then it occurred to her...... Who else will want her dead than her husband's mistress.......

"It seems no one wants to talk...... "Zara boom out as she stood in front of them....

"This isn't your jurisdiction Zara... "Claude said

"Your husband and the father of my child just died..., and one of this maids killed him.... "Zara said, then she spun round to face the maids again..... "Start talking....., who poisoned the kings food...?

"It wasn't the king's food Zara, it was my food......"

"Of course..."She said facing her back.... "The poisoner must have known the king will eat the food..... "

"This isn't the first time someone had tried to poison me..., first it was the king first wife..., and it seem the second person is also one of the king's conquest.... "

"If you're insinuating i tried to poison you, you better come straight........"

He decided to check the room.....,mind unsettled, he trot towards the room, he opened the door, the room was arranged but there was no-one in, just then his heart began to raced speedily, he quickly knocked on the bathroom door, no reply came..., he flung it open but she wasn't there....

"Sonia.... "He shouted.....

He ran outside, look at every corner, she wasn't anywhere...., he ran back in again, then to the room checking for any any broken thing or forced entrance...,just then he saw a piece of paper on the bed..., he quickly pick it up, his heart sanked as he read the content out.....

Hi., i really appreciate everything you did for me, but i realise my presence will put you in trouble and i don't want that for you, so i took the decison to leave before i cause you any more trouble.,don't bother finding me to Ferico Carter's house, am not there, am going far away from Akpatu, live your life well and catch those bastards...
