What exactly? There is no specific document format. Get your JD well outlined in your CV and SoS, and you're good to go.

Hi Guys ,

my assessment is out but not too encouraging. below is the outcome

(Computer Network and Systems Engineer)

IT Officer = 2yrs and 5 months
Snr. IT Officerr = 3yrs and 11 Months

B.Sc (UNN) = AQF Associate Degree with a Major in computing But I Have Master which I did not submit.

Question :

How many point do you think Department of Home Affairs will award me?
Do you think I can still make ?

BKings,

Reference letter is highly important. Yes, they do take the format seriously. They would always make reference to Page 28 of the MSA Booklet.
Interestingly, Page 28 has 2 options of documents required. You either have Reference letter with all their requirements included (Option A) or you have Reference letter with exact period of employment and endorsed along with your employment letter which would contain other requirements (Option B) Please be guided by these.

Oh! Thanks my brother, I appreciate this

The Master was removed because of experience i guess? If that is correct, go the way you assessed.
If you think that the 5point less you had with BSC is more important than the 6yrs+4moons, then you may choose to go with Masters.

Hi, the process is pretty straightforward. Please go through the TRA handbook and come back with more specific questions.

I was just about asking question about TRA.... My statement of account doesn't carry my company's name. But payment has been consistent for over 5yrs.
I told my company about this and they agreed to prepare me payslips.

My question is will only statement of account be enough? Or should I submit the pay slip? Or can I upload both?

You should submit both. You may provide a letter of explanation about the discrepancy in the company names. I'm assuming the companies are somewhat related.

i am in a bit of a dilemma right now, so i had submitted my EOI in July on a 65/70 points.and had included an ongoing online unpaid Cad designing as part of my work experience(even tho i didnt have plans of claiming that.now just yesterday, i got a mail from skillselect indicating i had a new message.. apparently my total experience had reached 3yrs as at yesterday and hence they added an extra 5points.i mailed them explaining the situation and their response was that i have to make a new entry..indicating No in the relevant work experience section..
my question is , i have been waiting since july, is there an alternative to starting this wait afresh?will updating my eoi refresh the date?please i need an experiential advise ASAP.
Chief Bellong and all people of goodwill, pls advise

Hello, if my memory serves me right, as long as you haven't received ITA on the EOI, you are able to edit it.

Try editing so that you don't push forward your Date of effect after waiting for so long.

Cheers!

I don't think that should be your concern because if you get an ITA with the current position, you would have wasted time and resources. The earlier you edit it the better.
