The day i stop taking these boys serious is when one they told me ibadan is better than rivers and anambra state, wtf, who dash monkey banana, a place filled with slums and occupied by old looking houses dating back to 19th century? thats not civilisation, thats backwardness. i dnt wanna sound like a tribalist, this is just the plain truth, there is no where u could place ogun above rivers and anambra, industries aside, mostly owned by foreign companies, ogun state is just like any other south west state very empty and dry, unlike in anambra state where there are bigger economic activities, local and foreign companies working perfectly, every where is densily populated, filled up estates. same cant be said about ogun, working class people are living fine in lagos, nt every yoruba i knw would like to live in ogun, houses in lagos are more expensive unlike ogun, ogun is just the 2nd option for people who couldnt afford house rent in lagos, use your brain next time its simple to grasp.

Your head is totally bent if you compare that tiny Anambra with Ibadan.
Ibadan is more developed than all South Eastern states joined together.
Anambra has only one mall, one Gra...phase 1 and phase 2,has no sky scrapper, has nothing near to the infrastructures in Ibadan...it is a very big blasphemy comparing Anambra as a whole to the city of Ibadan because Ibadan beats all Igbo states hands down.
I have toured not only visited but toured Ibadan extensively and I can assure you that it is twice more developed even with its old part than your tiny Igboland with scanty modern buildings and no real infrastructure.Ibadan modern buildings are more and massive. This
is Ibadan:

Do you have these in all your Igbo states?

THIS IS IBADAN.I WAS THERE AND TOURED IT FOR MORE THAN A WEEK,ENTERING THE NOOKS AND CRANNIES USING BIKES, CABS AND MY VERY DEARIE FEET.
There is a revolution of development going on in Ibadan that Lagos has to sit up.The only snag I saw was that old part.. Beere,Orita Aperin etc but even with that,I salute the OMOLUABIS and some outsiders too who had made this possible.
Those who do not know.... there are more Hausas than the Igbos in Ibadan.I specifically entered their markets and asked questions. The markets were dominated by the Yorubas even spare parts and textiles.
I have been to Ibadan severally but had never toured it like this.
I VISITED ALL THE 5 MEGA MALLS AND TOOK PICTURES.

By Nigerian grade 2 standard, they qualify.

there is no way u can compare ibadan to anambra state, although ibadan is larger, not to talk abt ibadan, anambra can only compete with the likes of lagos, river, anambra can boast of heavy infrastructures now, home based companies, we are not talking about business, while it seems like lagos is toping that chart is due to the proximity to the sea, apapa sea port, because thats the only sea port working effectively, apart from that, anamabra is the headquaters of business in naija, mgbuka obosi auto parts in anambra state can generate 350m every weekend this is no lie, main market is the largest market in west africa now, billions are made there every weekend, not to talk of nkwo nnewi auto market, innoson, etc, anambra is extremely rich to compare to ibandan, are u guys okay at all? try escaping that hole for once in your life, bt dnt carry your skull mining skills here cos we go plank ur coneheads, lol, im just being friendly.

there is no way u can impress the people here with mere pics of local canteens and hotel rooms, infrastructures attract investors not hotels and local canteens, i av seen a building bigger than mall and its not a mall sef. yoruba can be decieved by mere pics, thats why thousands of them are stranded, stuck and packed in one ghetto village in russia, lagos leads in infrastructures and anambra follows, rivers arent excluded from the top 3 chart, lol this yoruba boys sef, this issue has been trashed by one popular guy here on nairaland numerous times, we need new topic ogbeni?

Ibadan has more than 10 GRAs,Anambra has only one scanty phase 1 and 2 GRA but he will still argue mumuishly grin.
