I like this man a lot, not just because he was my classmate at UNN in those days, but he is a realist, very humble and now well 'aticulated'. I remember him for his habit of always glancing through the newspapers at the entrance of the cafeteria after having his breakfast (what we called ''free readers' association'') before heading for his lectures.

The truth is there for every discerning mind to see. Only those with selfish political interests would doubt Obi's sincerity.
We all know how bad things were in Anambra state before Peter Obi became governor and how he was able to transform the state for the better.

People called him stingy just because he wasn't throwing the state's funds around. Those are the kind of leaders we need.

I would have prefer Mr Peter but with Atiku has his boss, I don't trust the man o, I can remember when my dad was still in active service, he made mention of the office he worked before he retired that Atiku spoilt the system, meaning the office was not functional when Atiku was VP, and he was directly in charge of that parastal, so people like him can't be trusted.

The man is weighed down with some serious personal issues and, self-loathing and complex. Buying a car, wearing an expensive wristwatch or your kids driving cars means nothing, even average hardworking Nigerians can afford to and do so every day, it doesn't mean you are corrupt or not corrupt and it doesn't mean you are frugal or not frugal, it's strictly the personal choices we make as individuals.


This man making a mountain out of a molehill all the time shows that he's either personally conflicted or mentally ambiguous especially since nearly all his frugal proclamations are lies.

He goes around saying he saved money when he was the governor of Anambra when in fact your job was to govern, develop your state, build infrastructures and improve your people's quality of life. It's like sitting in the hospital sick to death and the doctor asks you to but medicine, but you refused to because you are frugal and like to save money. It's called Pennywise, pound foolish.

Beats me why he's going all over the place displaying his failures as a badge of honor.

There are millions of Nigerian students in Nigeria and abroad driving cars and they did not steal your money of government's money, they work hard, some even work 2 jobs and Obi's kids not having to go through the same hardship means one way or the other, they enjoyed some level of privilege and luxuries provided by their father.


While studying, they ever worked at McDonald's or anywhere to pay rent or they enjoyed the luxuries of their fathers Mansion in London.


The man is mentally shallow and disingenuous with his idiotic rants about being frugal, the same frugal man who lied that the only property in his possession is in Onitsha, but come to find out, he's the owner of mansions in London.
