Morning my fellow money conscious people. My last question here got some good responses and further queries but I can't explain why I couldn't reply again. Being hearing of being banned but in this case it happened only on this thread. That said would love to thank all that stopped by. If I still have further queries, now that the system has given me reply option. I wouldn't mind attempting them.

Am not into bond and this not the bond thread, for knowledge sake, every 6months you will get 472200. In a year it's 944400. In 7 years, it's 6610800. Remember you can also be investing those interest in TBills as they come.

My fellow "go to jail" partner....too bad get out of jail cards don't work here. Why was i banned sef? (In Indian tongue)...for tailing d trut.

Here i am thinking the only TAC was "please do not post adverts in this section, to avoid being banned".

Remember the 9% is the annual rate i.e 30days/365*9=0.74% of your principal for the 30days...

No
Instead, if you urgently need 30 days tenor, try money market funds of 13% and above. Minimum holding period is 30 days.

In treasury bill calendar what I see is 91,182 and 364 days.. here many people use 365 days but I have never seen that in any TB calender and it doesn't even go in sync with 91 days as a quarter and 182 days as a half respectively. I just left a bank where I went to collect a proof of investment for TB and they were telling me that their calculator is set to rate percentage based 365 days when they should know better.

Good day,
last year Dec my T.bills matured on 22nd and because i don't want the money lying in my account i sourced for an investment company which i negotiated 17.5% interest rate for 180 days.
I'm skeptical as this is my first time trying out investment company and yes, their interest is far better than the banks so far.

kindly drop pros and cons if there are any as i planned using them subsequently to grow my investment.

Thank you.
